As everyone walked by the trunk and took the weapon of their choice, Wesley spoke; "I am not sure what we will run into when we leave this room, but I do know we will no longer be unnoticed by the senior partner, so be prepared, it has surrounded itself with sexual beings, who will pray on your sexual desires, your wants, lusts, and deepest hidden feelings, it will offer you the things in your life that you have wanted, desired or loved, your best move is to fight your feelings for if you loose yourself in your desire you may not make it out of here alive."
"Oh, yeah, that's gonna work well with this group," Buffy muttered, rolling her eyes and moving toward the large carved double doors. As she passed through, Buffy couldn't help considering the possible combinations their group offered and a pleasant tingle passed through her causing the faintest quirk of a smile to curl her lips upward.
Slowly and dramatically, the doors opened; someone gasped, and someone snickered. Each person looked at the others, realizing they were all without clothing, and being the only woman in the group, Buffy started to cover herself on instinct, but then lowered her arms when she realized she was not entirely uncomfortable with the groups current situation.
"I think we'll get a lot more done if we all maintain eye contact", Buffy said, "And I hope I get that outfit back, it was one of my favorites".
"Yeah, the outfit's important, I wanna get that shirt back, too, 'cuz it was one of my faves, can't usually find real rayon Hawaiian shirts anymore, and if we're not wearing clothes how come it's so warm . . . . and kinda sticky, and God, please no one answer that . . . " babbled Xander, his eyes deliberately aimed toward the ceiling and hands strategically placed, front and back.
As everyone walked passed Xander, leaving him in the back of the group he felt breath on his ear and a voice whispering to him, "I miss seeing naked Xander, that was one of my favorite things to do, walk around the apartment naked, just the two of us,why don't we step into the next room and get re-acquainted with each other again, I have missed you so much."
Only one of the group noticed as Xander paused and began to head down a different corridor, his voice a hopeful whisper; "Anya?"
As Xander went down the corridor, Lindsey didn't say anything about it, he just smiled a little smile and whispered to himself, "now this is going to get interesting."
"Now, if we might all get to work," said Wesley, carefully keeping his gaze above neck level, "Angel, put the dragon back where you found it, Lindsey, why are you holding that waffle iron, and has anyone seen Xander?"
"Everyone else has a weapon, and you're worried about my little ol' waffle iron?" Lindsey said, spinning it lightly in his hands as he looked over the whole group, wide-eyed innocence personified; the gang returned his gaze, unconvinced.
Angel turned to Wesley, "I told you earlier, I like the dragon, and for some reason I feel like I need it with me, and now that you mention it where did Xander go?
Spike half-closed his eyes and breathed in deeply; "Well, I'd guess that way", he said, pointing in the direction that Xander had drifted, "but you're the vamp-detective, what does your nose say?"
Walking over toward Buffy and leaning in behind her right ear, Angel lightly rubbed his nose and mouth up and down her neck slowly taking in the mix of her shampoo, perfume and natural smell, whispering into her ear softly,"My nose is only smelling one thing right now, and it's not Xander."
"Oh . . . yeah," Spike's eyes looked slightly glazed as he watched Angel and Buffy nuzzle each other, his body leaning first toward them and then toward the corridor that Xander had headed down; "But we should . . . . um, all keep together, right . . . and . . . . Xander maybe is . . . "
Buffy reached over and pulled Spike in close to her and Angel, "Don't worry about Xander, he is a big boy, he can take care of himself, in the meantime what do you say the three of us step inside this room and you two can take care of me."
Wesley took off his glasses, realized he had nothing to polish them on, and put them back on; "Buffy, Angel, Spike, stop that," he said, sounding like an annoyed schoolmaster, "We have work to do."
From behind Wesley a tiny almost timid voice called out to him, "Let them be Wesley, I need to talk to you, we don't have much time, if you want to save me, and collect the sphere we must hurry."
Buffy spun around; "You!" she said; "How did you get in here and why are you so small?"
"Well, when an Old One takes over your body and your soul nearly gets destroyed it takes a while for the soul to heal itself and well I was never very big to begin with now was I, but that is beside the point, if we don't get that fella who went in that room with that demon back, well , this whole thing is just going to go straight to hell, which in truth really isn't that far from here, just around that way a bit, oh and I see you brought the waffle iron, that's just great , I was really hoping somone would grab that....." Fred trailed off as she noticed Wesley, Spike, and Angel all staring at her smiling.
"Is it really you, Fred?" Wesley couldn't keep the hope from his voice as moved slightly forward, one hand tentatively reaching toward the small glowing figure. "Yep, it's me, Wes," Fred replied, moving closer to Wesley; suddenly a bolt of energy sparked between them, knocking them both backwards; in a swirl of blue sparkles, Fred returned to her normal size, but with a slight enhancement; "Are those wings?" Buffy said, staring incredulously.

Looking back over her shoulder Fred kinda shrugged. "yep, it looks like I have wings now, I was afraid of this happening, it is the next step in the process, I am not an angel or anything, you can't be an angel in a hell dimension, but I am almost past the point of no return, there is a way to stop the process, but we need to get Xander back, for without his pure human element in this group we have no chance of beating back the senior partner; oh and has anyone seen Cordelia?

Chapter 6
Cordelia emerged from one of the corridors, dragging a much-chastened Xander by the arm and talking non-stop, "The rest of you seemed to be busy, so I decided to take care of this myself, and really Xander, by now you should know better than to... Hey, Fred! Love the new look!"

Still tucking in his shirt and buttoning pants as he was being dragged down the hallway by his ear, Xander looked up with a sheepish grin on his face, until a loud crash was heard coming from behind the group, with glass and stone flying at the group everyone was ducking out of the way as half of the wall came tumbling down and through the smoke an imposing figure was starting to emerge.

"It is", said Giles, hefting a chainsaw as he stepped through the gaping hole that had appeared in the wall; "And I've been hoping for a chance to use one of these again", he added, as he cut the head off the nearest demon; Willow followed Giles through, still glowing from her portal-opening spell and calling over her shoulder "Come on, guys, they need help!".

There was a brief pause while everyone, discovering that they were clothed again, surreptitiously checked to make sure that their underwear was (a) present, (b) right side out, and (c) right way 'round, or, in Spike's case (d) none of the above, before Wesley, happily polishing his glasses on his shirt, said, "Right. Now, let's go deal with... what is that thing?"
As Angel passed Wesley with his sword raised, followed closely by Buffy and Spike, everyone heard him scream "That is a Kolgar demon, and where there is one more are to come, we have to act quickly."
The Kolgar was soon besieged on all sides, swords and fists battering its arms and chest, baby-dragon fire-burps crisping the hair on its legs, and small incised cuts on its face and head as proof of Xander's fairly accurate aim with a swinging belt buckle.
"Hey, a little help here!", Lindsey yelled; the rest of the gang turned around just in time to see him take out a second demon with his trusty waffle iron as three more Kolgars and something with snakes for hair leapt through the hole in the wall.
Xander and Cordy ran for the snake-headed lady, Xander swinging his sword cross ways toward her head while Cordy brought her sword upwards from the ground, as the snake's were chopped off the top of her head by Xander, Cordy's strike landed a perfect blow from between the legs and split her in half, Looking back at Cordy, Xander felt a tingle for her he has not felt in a long time.
Xander and Cordy stared at each other for one breathless moment; "No way!", they exclaimed in unison, and returned to the battle.
As the battle continued, the gang eventually found themselves backed into a rough circle, facing out at the demons that continued to pour into the corridor; undeafted, but unable to make any progress and increasingly distracted by the nearness of their fellow fighters - "What's that?!", a winded and obviously tiring Lindsey yelled, pointing toward the far wall.
Looking over Illyria's shoulder, Wesley strained to see through the smoke and past the demons, " Is that?.... No, It can't be."
As the crew entered the the hole in the wall, Faith was weilding her flame-thrower, completely toasting the demon on her left, she gave a look over at the completely stunned group on the other side of the smoke, "you guys going to just stand there or are we going to finish this job."
