<snip> That leaves, by my count, Sayid and Sawyer for me! *grin*I haven't decided yet which one I like better. I love an engineer, especially when he looks as good as Sayid in an open shirt. But Sawyer also comes off as very smart and you just know he's going have those attractive redeeming characteristics underneath the bad-boy thing.

Oh - I agree her reaction to the crisis was understandable. . . I was talking about before that. I just don't get that attitude she gave Sawyer about how he shouldn't dare compare himself with Jack. I like Jack, and he's shown himself to have many nice qualities, but the way she talked in that scene sounded so school-girl smitten. I kinda want them to get together too, I just wish Kate wasn't quite so . . . well, googly-eyed. Hmmm. That's interesting, because I didn't get the googly-eyed feel from it myself. But I can see where you're coming from. I wonder if Kate doesn't see something of herself in Sawyer, or think maybe she could become like him given the right circumstances. Remember, right after the crash she didn't run to help the others, and Jack had to talk her into sewing him up (not that I blame her--I'd have blanched at that task as well). Or perhaps her crime was the result of behaving like Sawyer is now in some way, and that's why she dislikes his behavior so. Or maybe she's just got the hots for him but doesn't want to admit it.

I don't think it would be Locke. My money's on either Sawyer or the crazy French lady. I heart Charlie. Ooooh. Crazy French lady whose not dead, eh? Interesting . . . . Charlie is my OTP! Wait a minute . . . . ;D ;D Lola

Charlie so sweet. And Charlie has found people to look out for him. Jack wasn't realizing how important it was for Charlie to feel useful and important. Who thought that the cave-in was related to Charlie's anger? Coincidence, or related? hmm....and the appearance of the strong moth to guide Charlie out of the cave... This week it was easy for me to forget that there is something 'supernatural' - by which I mean other than natural - going on. What a great casting job they did for this show. I'm so impressed with every aspect I am almost compelled to send fan mail. almost.

Hurley to Charlie: "You rock!" Charlie had a really good day. Found someone to be a big brother who will actually look out for him in Jack (and, it seems, Locke, though that is more fatherly than brotherly.) And a buddy in Hurley. NOW, he just has to hook up with Shannon. (Should I duck for cover?) LOL! No, because you are so obviously jesting!

Oh - you mean in the scene where Sawyer found her and Sayid and before he could give her the message about Jack she acted like a total bitca to him? That was the only point in the show that didn't work well for me tonight - she was so more acidy than necessary, and he reacted with childish pouting. That part worked though. We've seen it for 7 years...*grin* No - before that. I can't remember why Jack is a topic of conversation, but Sawyer and Kate are on the beach, and he says something about how he could be a doc too with some antiseptic and bandaids, or something like that. And she immediately gets her hackles up, saying he shouldn't compare himself to JACK. It just betrayed, to me, that she has put a halo on Jack. Sawyer - a mass of insecurites underneath it all, natch.

Scott/Steve is "inconclusive." They look very similar, and even their voices are not dissimilar...but witht he shaky camera work and th shortness of the scene, it's almost impossible to tell.

I am not liking the Jack & Kate thing. Kate is practically acting like a silly school girl. That is disappointing to me. I mean - I wouldn't mind seeing them get together, but not like this, with Kate being all . . . googly-eyed, as Vlad put it in a review. Sawyer - yep, Patti - killer dimples. I wonder what is up with him. I am thinking next week may be "his turn," given the trailer - I mean, we will get Sawyer flashbacks, and find out why he's so . . . so . . . Sawyer. Ooooh, Sawyer flashbacks! I really want Sawyer flashbacks. And Sayid. And Hurley. And Michael and Boone and Shannon and Claire and . . . . . Ahem. They're showing the good and bad sides of everybody and it' all just so complex and rounded and what not. I want more stories now! ;D Lola

The idea being that he doesn't want any of them to leave the island? Or that he's acting on behalf of nefarious island influences? I'm not sure. I suspect the possibility of others as yet unknown to us. I'm fairly sure it wasn't Sawyer. Just 'cuz that's too obvious. Lola PLUS, Sawyer had just lit that firework, bottle rocket or whatever and we saw it some distance away. I don't think he could have been close enough to Sayid.

LOL! No, because you are so obviously jesting! Jesting? Oh yes. But of course. Jesting . . . though, don't you think the babies would be cute? No - I - don't ask me to explain why, but I just think Charlie and Shannon have some chemistry and it could work. So - let's see, if I was going to pair them up right now, it would be: Charlie & Shannon Sun & Michael Jack & me Sawyer & me Sayid & me

*grin* I like how he totally called his brother on the "never protecting him" thing. AND the whole "relations" confession made me laugh my ass off. **nods nods nods** Yeah. Very good scene with the brother in Australia. Now that he's all clean and settled, you can just see him looking at little brother with slightly condecending pity. I mean, yeah, offer to let him stay with you for a few weeks but don't actually address anything real. Lola

I was very disappointed in Sawyer tonight. That he didn't tell Kate about the cave collapse, that he let her needle him into "pulling a Xander." (No offense Rob! *wink*) And then, later, when he let it "accidently" slip... jsut what was he trying to gain there? He had to know that was going to drive a wedge. Of course, it can be looked at in a different light. Perhaps he was regretting his decision and nowthathe knew he could do Kate's job with hte radio, was letting her know so she could take off tothe caves?
Grrrr Arrrgg... Sawyer... you are more complex everytime I think about you and your actions.
