Dude, I am so there with you! Lots of gift-giving in the ep - Sawyer to Jack, Walt to Shannon, Jin & Sun to each other. Letting go of the past, sailing into the future. Lovely imagery. And all of them were so . . . unexpected and sweet. Truly sweet and . . . real feeling.

I was happy to see him. He was right in what he told Shannon - that someday she'd appreciate what he does for her.

Those freakin' numbers! Danielle got a good look at the hatch - did she see the numbers? Did Hurley? If they did, would they be more or less likely to want to hide there? And what did Hurley write in his note? I paused and zoomed, and I see that Hurley wrote the following: Dear Mom,
I assume you are still alive since me and my jinx aren't there to kill you. Me and my jinx got dozens of people killed when our plane crashed. I got the rest of us marooned on one scary-ass island. That's where I am now. By "now", I mean when I'm writing this.
There's all kinda weird dudes and dudettes on this island. There's a doctor with tatoos like a biker, and an escaped con with a face like an angel, and a goofy looking little kid who beats me at backgammon. But I'm getting along.
Well, ma, I hope they've declared me dead by now, and you didn't cry too much, and you are happily spending my money.
Love, Hugo
PS>There is a gun-toting crazy French lady, and a man-eating polar bear also. I guess you were right that I shoulda packed the rosary beads.
#bid# #rofl1# #bid# And here I was just thinking he wrote down the evil numbers to get them away from him and that's why he was so insistent that Charlie not read them.

I liked the ending, but I was expecting more of an action-packed ep, since this is part of a two part finale . . . I guess it was meant to be build up, and the action will be in the next ep. I wonder what happened when airport security found Sayid. He ended up getting on the plane, so I imagine it was an unpleasant, but short lived hassle of some sort. I'm thinking they either didn't find him before he got on the plane or his super sekrit spy friends helped him out. Ooooh! Or maybe he was delayed again, just enough to put him on the Plane of Doom.

**snicker** Brainshare with Matthew? Scary, ain't it? Seriously, why would she call it The Black Rock - unless that's the name of the ship. oh..doh! Lots of wreckage on the island. A couple of planes, a wooden ship, - oh, maybe the 'hatch' is part of some sort of wreckage. A sub? Pulled out of the ocean up through the bottom of the island? And, freakishly enough, I am only half kidding.

No!! I love glib, gun-toting, secret-keeping, Hurley-lovin', "that's when he lost the arm" CFL!! Oooh, nice one. ;D Oh, can I say I hate Azrhyhh whatever his name is for his "never tell a secret to a fat guy" crack? I hope the island eats him. Grr. I'd be totally happy if the island ate him, starting with his bottom.

Sun is still trying to waffle her way out of his company? Tell him you love him you silly twit.. OOOH!!! English lessons!! My heart is gonna melt. That was the most sweetest best thing ever. Ever! Well, I was kind of wondering about that too . . . Yep. They're sailing out and around and getting all excited and thinking they spot civilzation and landing. And then the zombies come out of their huts and eat them. Or else they're out at sea and they run into that time travel ship from WWII that Vlad was talking about. Or getting all beat up by storms and end up right back where they started. Or else they become pirates! Wacky "chasing the dragon", dressed like Keith Richards pirates! Awwwww! *snortle* Kon-Tiki Ho! Nope. But it's gonna be fun! ;D This marawhatits Russian doll quoting thing is such a pain. Jack really is a pessimist - to give Sawyer a gun. Random thoughts. Love Jack's 'What if' (Locke's view) to 'Tangible' (Jack's view) Showed Jack not drinking, and Sawyer's morning after a bar fight. Sawyer reached out to say good-bye (to Jack), but Kate hates good-byes, altho - but she did look back for Sawyer many times when the CL's group set off. The plane's flight was 15 hours Long. Paper - Messages in a bottle. Sun's Korean/English translation book. Any other?

That was the most sweetest best thing ever. Ever! But it's gonna be fun! ;D This marawhatits Russian doll quoting thing is such a pain. Yeah. It doesn't handle the multiple quote stuff we like to do very well, does it? Pessimist or pragmatic? Or even wanting to deliberately show some trust of Sawyer? To let him know he does appreciate some things about him before he leaves? And also because the folks on the raft should have one of the guns. **nods** Yep. She was "running away" again, but perhaps showing that she is finding she doesn't always want to now? Tell me about it! I've done a 13 hour flight once and MAN did it suck! The CFL's notes and papers that Sayid took? Not directly in this ep, but linked to it because Danielle was in it.
