If it was someone we've seen before, I give it less than 24 hours and somone on the internets has screencapped it and posted it. Yeah. We'll just let one of the prideful bunch do the legwork. *revels in the smartness of her slothiness* Be the sloth, Karen. Live the sloth. *slumps into an even more boneless puddle of laziness relaxedness* ;D

It was a good one. I got Rose and Bernard flashback and the return of Michael!!! Not to mention Hurley shadow puppets and schmoopy Sawyer. It don't get better than that. Don't forget Ana Lucia's throaty/flirty - "I pushed your button." comment to Locke. ;D **purrs** Ana of the hiphuggers - she could have Locke pushing any button she wanted, I'll bet.

Ooo. Vincent. Not a good sign, that. Poor Sawyer. I imagine he's not liking the fact that Jack and Kate went off into the jungle alone together. Kate finally told Jack about the medical hatch! Such a pouty bunch of whiners. I want to bitch-slap them all when they keep on keeping secrets like this. Then again, the writers could make me perfectly happy by having Sawyer seek solace in the arms of Sayid. Is that so much to ask? Is it? #rofl1# They could keep house in that little grass shack Sawyer was building. By the by. Where WAS Sayid? Hmmmmmm...

I guess I could understand building a church, sort of, but why not build better shelter, or housing? I mean I understand bernard, these people seem content to live under tarps and leaves.
I completely believe bernard, when he said we will never leave. I think even if they get rescued, I could see him and rose standing on the beach waving as the ship sails away.

Oy.
I just started watching Lost, and it occured to me (during the previouslies):
The button can't do anything important.
Why?
Because the food delivery/lockdown thing happened at the same time as the end of the countdown. That would never happen if the end of the world really would come if the button wasn't pushed. Because...if the goal is to keep the world (or whatever) intact, then having a lockdown right at that moment is a huge defect in planning.
All of this of course assumes that:
1) The thing is still running according to plan (huge bad assumption)
2) It isn't all a gigantic conspiracy to get Locke's attention (as opposed to a big old rat maze experiment).

Of COURSE they're not gonna be willing to trade for Walt. It's not a fair trade. Even if we're just talking breeding stock, Walt is young and vigorous and new. Add in the psychic powers, and Henry's stock isn't looking so good.

So...we all know about the nets, right?
I have all sorts of issues believing that Kate would pick up a doll she found lying in the jungle, when the Others were foremost on her mind.

Or a gun. Too bad Jack is such a good shot. That faith healer looked familiar. That wasn't Kate's farmer, was it? If it was someone we've seen before, I give it less than 24 hours and somone on the internets has screencapped it and posted it. That faith healer was SCORPIUS!!!!!!!!!!! Without the cool leather, the cooling units, and the scarran physiology makeup. Wayne Pygram. Hasn't been on the show before. I was really impressed that he was going to return Bernard's donation: that, and the look of "whoa, holy shit!" on his face convinced me that he's a real deal. In this universe, at least. But still, AAAAAH!!! Scorpy the faith-healer!!!!! I kept expecting to see him install her in an Aurora chair....

S.O.S. - same old shit stuff Rose/Bernard have very different philosophies. He's a dentist. Did we know that before? Locke is getting pissed off at having to push that button. Loved Sawyer's - Oh Happy Day! Here comes Dr. Giggles. Where DID Ana Lucia get the gun? She was very quick in giving it to Jack. Maybe she's a mole. Everyone is back on the beach. She took it off of Charlie: who got it as gelt for toadying for Sawyer: nobody seems to have put all those clues together yet; and he hasn't been trusted with a gun since he shot Ethan. Should dawn on them pretty soon, like when they decide to go off to war led by Michael's evil Twin who showed up to lead them into death and danger and other badness.

I mean I understand bernard, these people seem content to live under tarps and leaves. **nods nods nods** In "real life", Bernard is really pretty correct. Folks are not doing rational, save-my-life and maximize the possibility of rescue stuff anymore. The wacky island hijinks have distracted them. Awwwwww.

Eetah on your concept and it's assumptions. In fact, if it is a big old rat maze experiment, having the button do nothing and deliberately scheduling the "food drop" lockdown thing during a "need to push the buttons" time is perfect. Because you've got all sorts of reactions to observe. Which will they choose to obey? Just how nutty will they get if kept away from the button? Etc. etc.

Add in the psychic powers, and Henry's stock isn't looking so good. Not to mention, if this is an Other plan, well - they already thought of this possibility and probably sent someone knowing they might not get them back. Or hoping they don't get him back. Heck. Maybe the Others are as creeped out by "Henry" as we are. ;D
