Sloane, how's it feel to get a little of your own medicine? (Not that I agree with SpyDaddy's actions.)

Ok, why does Sark suddenly *love* her? I don't really believe that... he certainly didn't appear to love her last season. Desire? Yeah. Love? Nah. And, Sark is crazy if he thinks Lauren loved him. Is her body not going to be there? ETA: Guess it is. I wasn't expecting her body to be there either. And I agree - that was very classy of Melissa George to show up for that, I was sure they would avoid showing her head because it was just an extra's body. I don't know what I think about Sark loving Lauren. It could be that he did indeed fixate on her while in prison, or he could be playing a game of his own. Loved the Sark/Sydney kissage and his wiping off the blood. So, I might have missed something but Lauren was into pain during sex? Bondage? What was villain guy talking about? Spydaddy and Sloane all mano a mano over their daughters. Hee, hee. I'm glad they didn't kill Sark or Anna because I want them back. I know Gina Torres has signed for a new series but hey if Aisha can be on every show currently playing on television, she could probably have a few days off to guest star again. That scene in the creepy morgue was very well done. Though I kept looking for a vampire to rise.

I wasn't entirely certain, but I do seem to recall that when Lauren was with Sark she tended to like it a bit rougher--remember how she jumped him in the car after they escaped Syd and Vaughn? I definitely got the sense that she was usually the agressor--or at least a lot more agressive--when she and Sark had sex. Plus, remember that she and that Covenant guy were practically having sex in the parking garage...until she stabbed him, that is. I definitely share in your gladness that both Sark and Anna survived--I think they're both worthy adversaries as well as fascinating characters in their own right. Hee.

Sara quote (eek somehow I messed this up but . . .)

Ahh. I thought maybe I missed something when I was watching the Season 3 DVDs. I have to say - I thought Syd/Sark kissing/biting was kind of hot. And she called him a pervert. Hee, hee. So MV - is totally pulling a Wesley stubbly look this year and it is working for him. Think he's going to go dark anytime soon?

Well, Vaughn did seem a little too willing to blow Sark's head off--that struck me as potentially troublesome.

Well, Vaughn did seem a little too willing to blow Sark's head off--that struck me as potentially troublesome. To be very honest - this is the only season where Vaughn has seemed interesting to me. Of course - I came into this series through DVD's this past year but season 1 had me so caught up in the story that shipping and Vaughn's character just never clicked with me. I was far more interested in Will, Spydaddy and the unfolding story. This year he has had some terrific episodes, seems so much less wooden or led around by Sydney, and has looked much hotter. (I'm kind of addicted to the wesley scruffy look). I believe his character has the potential to go many different ways. Honestly the only character who seems to be lacking this year is Sydney. She seems almost on the outside looking in to me - her story, her angst so much less compelling. Yeah - I get that she's upset with Sloane but its just been overdone too much. She needs the angst of Spymommy or Spydaddy betrayal to bring out her best. That's not to say that I haven't enjoyed JG this year but a few times it has seemed like she's been phoning it in. And Sara again (since we seem to be the only ones currently posting here) I am so, so sorry about your brother. Hopefully, he will find something better quickly but bad news out of the blue just leaves you feeling (to quote a great word) gobsmacked. Its nice he has you to be fierce and on his side.

LOL! Now THAT's the Sark I know and love. ;D "Dream on you perverted freak." ETA: "You have my permission to kill him if you like." Gosh I love an episode with Sark in it. he is cool.... and this is the first I've seen of him other than avatar alley... Can't believe they captured Anna! I was kind of disappointed. Maybe she'll get away to be a threat again in the future! ;D

Personally, I suspect when the truth comes out about who really "killed" Irina (as I'll believe she's dead when I see her corpse) there will be plenty of SpySister angst to fill in the gap. And I'm with you in finding Will and the SpyDaddy saga in season one way more compelling than the Syd/Vaughn relationship. But their relationship has never really clicked with me, period. I was always a big Syd/Will fan myself. Thank you. Your kind words are much appreciated.

and its a goodie! Thanks Sara - you do such a fine job of pulling it together on your reviews - so...Did Martha Stewart REALLY say that? LOL!! Oh - and I agree with you in that it seemed puzzling to even me that Anna would be trying to kill Nadia - then she revealed she was kinda going into business for herself and I figured she'd 'lost faith' in anyone but herself. But no explanation for that - so it was a minor hiccup in logic for me too. I also thought the jump out the window with the firehose was just breath-takingly well done.

Well, not exactly in those words... here's the beginning of the statement she posted on her website: "The experience of the last five months in Alderson, West Virginia has been life altering and life affirming. Someday, I hope to have the chance to talk more about all that has happened, the extraordinary people I have met here and all that I have learned." So, really, I wasn't that far off.
