So... is it wrong that part of me hopes Vaughn is dead? Well... Greg hath spoke after all... he did propose and mark himself for death. So, no, I don't think it's wrong. ETA: Plus - it offers some interesting possibilities for JG's pregnancy next year. Hmmm. I kinda like it.

So I haven't read anything anyone has written yet but what was that? Hello- what just happened? Vaughn isn't Vaughn? Sara? Input - I need input.

Dealing with a baby, trying to uncover what Vaughn was going to tell her... many interesting possibilities. And yes, I'd forgotten Greg marked Vaughn for death. He hath spoken, so it must be so. Meanwhile, I'm so very, very happy Irina's alive to come back another day.

Maybe he's dead, and we won't have to worry about it anymore.

Yeah, that was what was giving me the "head is 'sploding" feeling there, myself. Maybe he's dead, and we won't have to worry about it anymore. Here's hoping. But since one of the main stories of the year was Vaughn looking for his dad, specifically referred to as Bill Vaughn several times, I have to imagine they've taken this into account.

Okay, gang--Sorry I can't stay and talk more, but I'm looking at a very, very long day tomorrow. So I'm heading for bed. If I can sleep, that is...

But wait--his dad's name is Bill Vaughn. *sob* I'm so confused... Color me beyond confused. Here's the aw sweet ending and suddenly - Hello? Bad guy? I mean - yeah, I caught the little Irena thingie and I gathered there was some secret in the background but . . . . . . Whew - now that was a cliffhanger!!! A real cliffhanger. I was a little meh on parts of the show - maybe seeing 28 days, Dawn of the Dead and Shawn (sp?) of the dead has made me meh on zombies. Lots of goodies - Jack was awesome again and of course he let her go, but I was kind of nodding a bit at the ootsy lets get married on the beach and then whap! Matthew- yes - much better ending than Lost. I haven't been to the Lost thread yet but that was mostly 2 hrs of yawn with a tiny bit of excitement.

Well, I still like Vaughn, even though I don't love him like I used to--so I'd hate to see him die. But it would make it even more interesting next season if he died in the wreck and Syd had to figure things out on her own.
So, um, has there been any word on when the next season will be?

Other than the news that Alias is moving to Thursdays at 8 p.m. (insert a few lines of smilies here), I know nothing about next season. There were rumblings Michael Vartan might not be back, although I think a recent interview I read indicated he was onboard for season 5, and the last I heard Mia Maestro was not on contract for a fifth season. When news about the fifth season starts coming in I'll create a new thread to keep everyone up-to-date. Which raises a question: would information like who and who isn't going to be part of the regular cast to start season 5 constitute a spoiler or no?

I like to know casting information and to me that's not a spoiler. I visit a lot of acting sites so its pretty hard for me to avoid these types of things anyway. After recovering from last night I have to say bravo to Alias for really pulling a late inning comeback this year. I've enjoyed all the latest episodes immensely and Spydaddy, Spymommy - all bringing the good. Again Jack gets a great line about enjoying the fun (can't remember it exactly) and I loved the instant shooting of Elena. The big red ball of doom was a little cheesy but I'll give them that. But overall I got the intensity, I loved the whap didn't see that coming ending and the performances were knock em out of the park again. Kudos J.J. Now about the Lost finale . . . . . .

Jack's line about getting more fun out of life may now be my favorite Jack line ever. When Sydney and Vaughn? (which is how I'm going to write his name from now on) were talking in the car I kept thinking "something's gonna happen... this is way too normal and happy...", and yet I still jumped about a foot when their car got hit. I'm trying not to be pissed at ABC for cutting the Alias finale from 90 minutes to an hour so Lost could run 3 hours, but I'm failing mightily. I actually enjoyed the Lost finale, but there was easily 30 minutes of material in there that could have been cut without losing anything of significance. Right now I'm just crossing my fingers that they'll have the entire finale on the DVD release.

The pace, the suspense - it could, as you say, easily have lost 30 minutes and I think I would have liked it better. I'm not so much a fan of the long-drawn out to the eep moment. Probably why I'm such a fan of Alien - it just never stops bringing the intensity (Alien and Aliens - we do not speak of the other 2 ptoey).
