I'm all with the depressing music selections as of late, but this one is one of my faves and rather applicable to Season 6 Spike:
What Difference Does It Make? by The Smiths
All men have secrets and here is mine so let it be known we have been through hell and high tide I can surely rely on you and yet you start to recoil heavy words are so lightly thrown but I'd still leap in front of a flying bullet for you
So what difference does it make? so what difference does it make? it makes none, but now you have gone and you must be looking very old tonight
The devil will find work for idle hands to do I stole and I lied, and why? because you asked me to but now you make me feel so ashamed because I've only got two hands well, I'm still fond of you
So what difference does it make? so what difference does it make? it makes none, but now you have gone and your prejudice won't keep you warm tonight
Oh the devil will find work for idle hands to do I stole and then I lied just because you asked me to but now you know the truth about me you won't see me anymore well, I'm still fond of you
But no more apologies no more apologies I'm too tired, I'm so very tired and I'm feeling very sick and ill today but I'm still fond of you

I couldn't make up my mind if Buffy or Faith was singing this so... I've decided it's one they both like to sing occasionally at the K. Korner.
Strong Enough Sheryl Crow
God, I feel like hell tonight Tears of rage I cannot fight I'd be the last to help you understand Are you strong enough to be my man?
Nothing's true and nothing's right So let me be alone tonight Cause you can't change the way I am Are you strong enough to be my man?
Lie to me I promise I'll believe Lie to me But please don't leave, leave, don't leave
I have a face I cannot show I make the rules up as I go So try and love me if you can Are you strong enough to be my man?
My man...... Are you strong enough? (to be my man....) Are you strong enough? (to be my man....) Are you strong enough? (my.....man)
When I've shown you that I just don't care When I'm throwing punches in the air When I'm broken down and I can't stand Would you be man enough to be my man?
Lie to me I promise, I'll believe Lie to me But please don't leave

Can't resist adding my 2 cents--this always makes me think of Buffy and Spike. I think Buffy should sing it. Or maybe it's a duet.
Do What You Have To Do
What ravages of spirit conjured this temptuous rage created you a monster broken by the rule of love? And fate has led you through it you do what you have to do and fate has led you through it you do what you have to do ...
I have the sense to recognize that I don't know how to let you go. Every moment marked with apparitions of your soul. I'm ever swiftly moving trying to escape this desire the yearning to be near you I do what I have to do the yearning to be near you I do what I have to do. And I have the sense to recognize
that I don't know how to let you go I don't know how to let you go.
A glowing ember burning hot and burning slow deep within I'm shaken by the violence of existing for only you.
I know I can't be with you I do what I have to do I know I can't be with you I do what I have to do. And I have the sense to recognize but I don't know how to let you go I don't know how to let you go.

I have a Spike/Buffy video centered around Beneath You (mainly the church scene) to this song. Some of the lyrics really fit S/B.
Watched You Fall by Meredith Brooks
You were my wild companion we were forever high high high we burned the night around us sleeping could wait until we die You were the scars of passion and since the crashing came You've broken every promise I walked away I watched you fall I was blind to ya was lying to ya like everyone else who watched you fall say they love you but they're laughing when you crawl It's such a weary feeling When you've been stealing from yourself wishing the world away blaming someone else no one can do this for you straighten you hair fix your face Take all the pain inside you wash it away I watched you fall I was blind to ya was lying to ya like everybody else who watched you fall say they love you but they're laughing when you crawl Did I hear you? Did I try? Can I forgive myself for not standing by? I watched you fall I was blind to ya was lying to ya like everybody else who watched you fall say they love you but they're laughing, laughin' when you crawl I was blind to ya was lying to you said I love you but I'm laughing when you crawl was blind to ya you fall I watched you fall I watched you

Anya, a bit the worse for whiskey, walks up to the microphone and says "This song is for all the hardworking vengeance demons out there. Love ya, sisters!". Xander considers crawling under the table.
The Last of Me (Bree Sharp, More B.S.)
Once there was a time when I Could say I was your friend and you were mine But all that's history
I'll never know the reason why You thought that you could hang me out to dry For everyone to see Did you think that I'd lay down? That I wouldn't sweat it? Did you think I'd keep it down? You can forget it
You better watch your back -- I'm coming after you So you better face the fact you're gonna get your due Cause my mind's a single track, single in a guarantee: You ain't see the last of me
Pictures of our tiny hands playing castles or some beach's sands Are lost to crueler games Nicer memories now reside like twisted metal on the highway-side It's all gone up in flames
Did you think that I would cry? That I would just let you win? Did you think that I would die? I'm just beginning
You better watch your back -- I'm coming after you So you better face the fact you're gonna get your due Cause my mind's a single track, single in a guarantee: You ain't see the last of me I'm not your friend, if you think that I'll be leaving You better think again -- I'm here till I get even I won't say where or when, only that I guarantee: You ain't see the last of me
For every vicious deed you spend Payback is your dividend You can bet that you'll see me again
So you better watch your back -- I'm coming after you You better face the fact you're gonna get your due Cause my mind's a single track, single in a guarantee: You ain't see the last of me...
