OMG! Lilly’s plan, with Alan Thicke and the not-a-storm-trooper and the porn-quoting-pizaa-guy in the not-a-van-get-over-it-already stakeout? Too! Funny! ;D And awwwwww for the break-up, but it was awesome to see both Robin and Barney back to their old selves. Daddy’s home! Also? Who wants to bet we’ll get to see the failed Canadian variety show sometime in the future?

Civil union and planning to get married pending the passage of legislation currently on the floor of the New York State Senate!" ;D "Youuuu, son of a beeeetch!"

Barney in overalls all over a suit? Still awesome.
And I actually laughed out loud when Ted was running thru the streets yelling "I hate Barney Stinson" and random woman yells "so do I!". ;D

I liked the "everyone smokes" riff in this ep. I think it's fun when they do bits like this that emphasize that this is a story he's telling his kids and he's been hiding stuff from them. ;D

Hmm.....I wonder if the smoking is a hint.

TIM MOTHERFUCKING GUNN, SUIT DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! "Please don't cry on this. It's silk!" Heeee! Marshall being all jealous 'cuz Lilly thinks the hot bartender is sexier than him. "I know the university rule-book says we can't date, but it also says don't teach drunk and I do that all the time!" Yellow umbrella continuity for the win! Suits! Suits Song! Super Suits Song!! "Come on Lilly, get your head out of your ass."

"The camera loves me, Robin. More than loves me, the camera lusts after me. The camera wants to put on some nice lingerie, pop in an Al Green CD, dim the lights, and do all the work while I just lie there with my eyes closed."

The odes to the sun-dress, “I don’t have time for fake-history” and implied dibs. HA!
Good season opener. They’re getting back to the “meeting mom” thing. Also, whose wedding, eh?
