Michael Westen is an excellent spy with years of experience in covert ops. Well, he was until an anonymous person issued a burn notice on him, leaving him abandoned in Miami, with no money, no friends (aside from a volatile, trigger-happy ex-girlfriend with a love for chaos, and an old special ops-buddy who enjoys being an FBI informant almost as much as bedding and taking money from rich, older women), and no idea how to get his old life back. Now he must find out who's out to get him and why. And he's gonna get himself some payback, while he's at it.
Now, if only his mom will stop calling him with errand-runs and friends in need of his help and ratting him out to the bad guys and, well, you get the picture. The road to payback and getting the hell outta Miami ain't an easy one.
This thread is for discussion of any, all, and only those episodes and previews of Burn Notice which have already aired. No spoilers allowed! If you post a spoiler you will be punished--I'm not saying how or when, except that it will involve a Hello Kitty cellphone, half a roll of duct tape, and a pissed-off Fiona.
How'd I look? I look good, right?

Monnie, I'm just sayin'... Now I have to read the openers to all the threads in this section just for your threats about spoilers. No wonder it became such a topic of concern in the Bones thread. You are too cool for school.

You are too cool for school. I completely agree! Plus? There's no way I gonna risk anything that brings down the wrath of Fiona upon me, never mind the Hello Kitty-ness. And that photo? Damn!! That is nice. Verrrrrrry nice. Most excellent job on this new "TV love" playground, Monnie!

Interesting. So, they think they can run Michael, make him jump thru their hoops, work for them again only on just their own terms? Why do I think they might be mistaken? Woo hoo!! Burn is back!

Hee! I like how (right after the parenting anology) Michael is so blase and unconcerned as Jimmy is hitting him with a tire iron. All "now, now, we don't have time for this" as he easily takes it away from him and "if you can be good, you can ride up front".

Heh! Not 15 minutes in and Sam is mooching at his place, Fi is taking a swing, and his mom is defying his instructions. ;D

Aw, man. They're doing the kiss of death thing as far as ever getting him on their side. Putting his family and innocent kids in jeapardy.
I mean, yeah, it shows they know how to push his buttons, which is icky and worrisome. But it also shows they don't know what a very very bad idea it is to push those particular buttons.''

I can't wait for the two of them to meet. . .. Michael will totally remember that stunt.
