3.9 Long Way Back
No line between who you are and what you do. That's the theme of this show, isn't it?
Ooh, Fiona's family. Maybe we'll get to know more about Fiona's backstory. And more Jeffrey Donovan's sexy Irish accent. Yum.
Truth doesn't need handling. You were never in the truth business, Michael, you never were. Yeah, is Michael going to start to learn that the stuff he was involved in as a spy wasn't so noble as he believed?
Michael uneasy about all the changes in his life, despite himself.
Michael playing an irishman, playing an american. And Fiona's brother doesn't believe his "accent." LOL.
Hey it's what's his name from the Dresden Files.
Yep, Strickler's up to no good.
Fi and her brother have a heart to heart. Fi and Michael have a heart to heart. Then ambushed. And Michael is *unhinged*. Dude.
And Strickler was behind the whole thing. Yep. Fiona's instincts were spot on.
You don't get to have the girl and the job. I think we've met Michael's breaking point. And he shoots Strickler point blank! This is going to be interesting.
I don't think it's time for me to leave...I don't think you're ready to say goodbye either. Mmm-Hmm.
You can never go back [to Ireland] and neither can [Fiona]. Yep. The point of no return.
The worst feeling in the world is knowing nothing. Yep.

3.10 A Dark Road Madeleine reveals more hidden talents. Michael and Fi getting all lovey dovey while doing spy stuff. Madeleine confronts Michael about the grey areas of his job...and about his motives. Very interesting. And in the end, we've got another nemesis for Michael to deal with.

3.11 Friendly Fire Freelance psychopath. As opposed to those you can employ. Ah, this is the guy that killed Diego. Michael pretending to be what the world thinks of him. Sam not in a drinking mood?! This has got to be bad. whistling kids neighborhood watch for cops. I like it. Sam was married?! Sure didn't see that one coming. Wanted to see if I was a big a monster as he was. No you're not, but if you fake it long enough... Mmm-hmm. I think Michael got this persona from watching the Godfather a couple of times. Still haven't figured you out man. Don't try. Yeah, I don't think that Michael has figured himself out yet. Part of the appeal of being a spy is that he's not forced to. Michael finally commits to Fi Aww...

3.13 Enemies Closer Coast Guard. The Navy's little sister. Aww… Oh hey it's that guy again. Undead Larry. And hey, he's the first VP on The West Wing Sam completely unfazed by Fi in her underwear. Hee! No more bodies until we figure out what to do with the one we've got. Always excellent advice, I'd say. Nate's brother is married. To a very annoying woman. Who's a black jack dealer. That's going to end well. Spanish is the one language that Michael can't speak. I call that ironic. Love Michael's reaction shots when eavesdropping on the conversation between Nate and Madeleine. Yeah, this guy is nothing but bad news. Dad's dead, you're not in Afghanistan anymore, when are going to learn there are people you can trust? Yep. And Michael's heartfelt apology and confession. Aww... I'm going to need your help to make a very special bomb. Fi's more pleased by that than the apology.

Colonel Peabody. Snerk.
Love the scaling the wall trick
Damon: Stylish Bastard. Ha!
And this "easy job" just keeps getting more and more complicated
Love sam and michael's color commentary on the fight at the end
Michael attempts at a more open relationship with his mom. Aww...

3.15 Good Intentions Separatists . Supremacists. Potato. Potahtoe. Is white supremacy a thing in England too? Why does a girl decide to blow up cars all over Galloway? We didn't have soccer? More on Fiona's backstory Invoking the wrath of the homeowner's association. Bwah!! Now kidnapper starts tugging at the heartstrings. If he really knew Fiona, he probably should have started with that. Is the bread pudding story really true, I wonder? Nice parallels between Michael and Fi in this episode. Sociopathic adversaries manipulating them. Plus Argentinian guy telling them that they're the same, like other psychopaths have told michael in the past.

3.16 The Devil You Know
Michael against the world.
The emergency emergency spot
OMG, I can't stand Madeleine being interrogated.
Madeleine and Michael's secret code. Eep.
Eep! Simon is scary dude from Sarah Connor Chronicles
Simon's profile got pinned on Michael and that's how he got burned!!!
Simon also wants his life back. Interesting.
Do you really want to pay for your son's mistakes? He paid for mine. I love Madeleine's defense of Michael.
Michael finally willing to flat out kill the sociopaths
Holy Crap. It's about this point in the series that I start to wonder exactly how much damage 1 guy can take. Geez.

4.1 Friends and Enemies How long before this "friend" turns psycho, I wonder. The Bigger Picture. Oh hey, we're out of Miami for the first time since the pilot. Monkey Monkey MONKEY!!! Ha! I love this jumping in media res into the case of the week. OK…so who's that guy again? Big Ed. Apparently he's quite large. You should keep that guy Michael around. You guys make a great team. Michael and Madeleine's heart to heart. Michael's deepest fear, becoming his father like the monsters he's fighting. Yeah, Michael, at this point I'm thinking the only way it's going to be "over" is if you walk away. And Michael just burned another spy!!! So he has become the monster he's been fighting. Michael finally knows what it's like being on the other side.

4.2 Fast friends See, even Sam thinks it's time to walk away. But I still think Vaughn is a vampire name. It's how spies get free long distance. Jesse certainly adds some yumminess to the show. I approve. The legend of Michael Westen Exactly how much time has passed since the beginning of the show, I wonder. I don't think we're going with 1 season = 1 year, but it's hard to tell because there aren't really seasons in Miami and there are barely any references to passing time. Great dramatic tension with Michael and Jesse working together. I can't wait for the inevitable confrontation Jesse learning the ropes Repairing the charger for the umpteenth time, heh. Madeleine and Jesse bonding

4.3 Made Man Love their expressions of boredom. Hee! And Jesse gives as good as he gets. This is going to be fun. Security guard looks familiar. Madeleine's going to figure out the score on Jesse pretty quickly Sam sharpening the knives Holed up in a church, living off of communion wafers. Yep, Madeleine's figured it out. I am now the closest friend of total psychopath! So, now you know how Michael felt all those times. So now Jesse's a part of the team Wow, Michael looks just devastated there at the end after Madeleine shames him

4.5 Neighbors Nice split screens in the beginning here. Yay, its what's her name from Six Feet Under Assassin snatching costume Hey some kids just stole some DVDs from my store! Yeah, good luck with that. A homemade drone I love that idea. And the letting the little kid fly the toy plane. Hee. I wish our phone calls were as flirty. She threatened to kill me. I can do that. Hee! Sending an untrained civilian into the school is like dropping your kid off for their first day of school. Again with the school analogies.

4.6 Entry Point
Interrogation as proposal metaphor
Oh yay, another sociopath
Bureaucracy is a spy's best friend Mmm hmm
Mr. slippery. Hee!
By the way, the woman who runs [the HR department]? I'm not sure she can hack it here.
Mr Slippery is a woman!? It would have been way funnier if it had turned out to be the woman with the cats.
But Michael, I loved that bag! Sorry Fi, I never did. hahaha!!!

3.7 Past and Future Tense
Well, if that was my wife, I know where I'd be. Cut to husband drinking. OK, that was *really* low, but I'm laughing despite myself.
Even a day at the beach isn't a day at the beach with you people.
Everyone's all excited about interrogating the Russians. #rofl1#
Whooie. Michael playing interrogating Russian guy with the knife came off as way more erotic than they intended I think.
Wow, is that Burt Reynolds. I think that's the first time I've seen he's actually managed to disappear into a character.
Well Mike, I still love you. Have fun with the ghost of Christmas Future. Bwahahah!!! Bruce Campbell has *the* best line delivery.
Typical jaded congressman. Yep.
Burt Reynolds as Ghost of Christmas future indeed.
Everybody wants to kill some Russians. Hee.
Burt Reynolds knocks the congressman out. Now this has turned into screwball comedy. *snorfle*
The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming!
Fi confronts Michael. Turning into some one who only cares about the idea of people. Yep, Fi's got it pegged.
