The Magic Bullet? Oh, you mean the Angel ep "Magic Bullet"!! I recognized Jimmy the client from a small but creepy role in Mulholland Drive. Huh, according to imdb, he was also in an ep each of Moonlight, Mad Men, Bones and Veronica Mars! Anyway. I liked the ep, and Bruce Campbell gets all the good lines as per usual. Stuffed into one of Michael's shirts: "How do you fit into these little clothes; they're like doll clothes." HA! And later to Fiona: "I have lots of other friends with ovaries. {counts off with fingers} I've got you, {...}" And I also liked Fiona's faux flirting: "It's so stiff." "I'll pull it out." Hee. Michael pulled off a pretty acceptable British accent, though it seemed to veer into the oncoming lanes of Australian and Irish at times. But I certainly couldn't do better, so who am I to complain? I'm so geeked the show is back! I thought Michael's accent was supposed to be an Australian accent? To match the other guy who was Australian, right? Or am I forgetting? Anyway, I thought it was good, but I'm not a native, so what do I know. Actually, I think it was supposed to be South African, but not Afrikaaner. More like the originally British elements of the country. At least it sounded like a few South Africans I have met. Very easy to confuse with Kiwi or Australian at times.

Man, I missed all these spy tips. I wonder if they all actually work or if they do that thing on MacGyver where they change things slightly so no one can duplicate them. Actually, I read an article last night that Sara had given me a link to that said they do usually change or leave out one important detail so's no one can duplicate it. I knew I knew him from somewhere! Cool. So you're saying that I'll have to practice the spy tips a bunch of times, experimenting to find the missing instructions and ingrediants? Hot damn!! That'll be fun.

Jimmy the client is that guy from the Magic Bullet! Awesome. I love that guy. And hmm. I thought that he would end up being in on it, and actually be Carla’s husband or something, but I guess he wasn’t. The Magic Bullet? Oh, you mean the Angel ep "Magic Bullet"!! Yeah, from what I remember, South Africa (or thereabouts) is where he was claiming to be from and the voice seemed pretty accuarate for that. Which is now making me think again of Alex Kingston, after watching her in Dr Who recently. Because she did a very good job with the role of a somewhat shady South African character (and did the accent very well) in Croupier. Which is a movie I really recommend. And not totally because of the nummmy Clive Owen in the lead. The story is really engrossing.

Hmmmmmm.
Michael, you gotta get some other folks to help you. Then, you can fake her out with Sam and Fiona while your other help gets intel on them.
'Cuz you're not dealing with another client who doesn't know about this stuff, or with the client's enemy, who doesn't know you're on the case or what you are. You're dealing with another you.

Yoghurt. This show is like some sort of yoghurt cult. OK, a rather easy-going cult, but still. I'm thinking this stalker case is, well, something other than what it seems. Barry! The sweet little money-launderer. Don't be mean to Barry. **pets his woobie face-masked face** Oh, I soooooo want to see Michael in counseling. ;D Huh. A cop? Interesting twist.

I liked Michael's reaction to her mention that there are "stories" starting to float around about him. He's not a PI who' be happy to be getting a good rep, he's a spy who totally is not happy about people having a hint of his existance.
But really, it's inevitable the longer he's forced to stay in one city and keep finding work.
"I'm out here alone, d'you understand?" "Yeah, actually." Nicely done. Once again a client's situation getting to Michael, but for a different reason than we've usually seen before. But he's going to try one of his most common tactics with the guy -make someone else think somethin bad about him and thus take care of the problem without Michael and team having to take direct action. (I gotta admit, I love that this is his "go to" kind of plan, because it's sneaky and thus very spy-like. )

Oh, and now they threaten his mom again, obliquely, but a "we can get in here anytime" threat none the less.

Every puppy starts out chewing the furniture. Oh, she and her bosses are very sure they can always have Michael under their thumb. Me? I'm not so sure. I wonder if we're getting hints in how Michael will trap these new bosses in the way he's helping clients. Planting false "info" about himself to make them think they know him, pretending they've "got" him, to make them think they are safe, using their own bosses or plans against them. Heeeeeee! The little shiver that he does at the therapist's office. ;D Oh, I loved that therapy session! Mom really didn't think the "communication" would cut both ways? Ha!! Whoa. The scene with Michael just playing the role harder? Excellent!! Because Michael wins and loses.

"Fi, get me a sniper rifle and some C-4." "Oooh, I like where this is going." ;D
I like the payment that Michael asked for from the cop - to keep him just a rumor, hidden.
Oh, Michael. The guy who figured out the card is working for her guys or informing or . . . yep. Asking about what the card was for went over the line, but I love how he also knew to be suspicious of that too.
