This is an intriguing take on what it's like in an embassy. And I agree with Sam that stealing from one would be very scary and likely a not-so-good idea!

The slightly uncomfortable emotional dance between Michael and Fi is being done rather well. And I like seeing Michael doing one of his "regular" cases again, too. Wonder if his new bosses will be happy about it, though?

I also like that his plan of stealing the files to trade for info didn't work right off and that Fi didn't succeed at her plan right away either.
It ramps up the feeling that things are getting more complex and harder for him.
Like how the first season did, ep by ep.

"Sweet kid. I can see why he's in trouble." Heee! I agree with Michael's mom, but I also think the client is kind of adorkably fun. Heh! "Some people like to beat the lock, some people like to break it. But it doesn't matter when the safe it sitting wide open." ;D I love his little head shake / eye roll like he can't believe what an idiot this guy is. Except the safe isn't really the safe. Which makes me wonder if this guy is playing Michael as Michael is playing him. And again, this scheme doesn't work either. Cool!

Heee! I love Sam playing the role of Michael's "monetary babysitter" and warning the guy about Michael's character. ;D "The best way to show you're willing to walk away, is to walk away." ;D They're gonna make this guy wish he'd never laid eyes on Michael and tried to con him, aren't they? I'm not sure that Michael's mom is completely right in her involvment in Michael and Fi's relationship. Good idea or worst idea ever? Michael is really working this Pakistanian spy guy. Working him like mad! Working him like the con man, actually. Oh now they've pissed off Michael by grabbing the client mom. Not cool, guys! Not cool! And you've just brought down the wrath of Michael upon you. You'd be smart to, like, run now.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I love how they whipped out the "this guy is seriously crazy card to totally freak out the con man guy. ;D Well, they didn't hurt her, so no serious wrath of Michael, but a very nicely sweet threat.

Michael's ginormous glasses. I love how Michael applied spy tactics to deal with his mom. Complete with voice over explanation. Hee! And then he almost sits on the cat!

Spicy goat cheese? black pants. Interesting heart to heart between Fiona and Michael's mom.

I loved this episode so much more than the last two. It just felt like old school Burn Notice. I loved the client, the scam and the spy.
And I honestly think the show benefited by Carla not being a part of it. I just don't think the addition of TH as Carla is working.
Hee to all the parts mentioned above.

Well, Carla's barely been on screen at all yet and we barely know anything about her. Seems to me like it's a little too early to form any kind of opinion about her.

The return of Nate - guess that means things are about to go all to hell again, eh? And I guess it was rather inevitable, once their mom had returned.
