I love that the geeks are geeking out about Summer Glau. I mean, she's big in the genre world, so we would understand their reactions, but she's not exactly mainstream yet. I love that a show on one of the main networks would dare to be so focused and not try to satisfy the lowest common denominator.

Hee! Raj stole Howard's thunder. And he's not mute in front of Summer Glau! Or maybe she doesn't count because she's an actress?
ETA: Oh, he was drinking. Never mind.

Google-fu shows me that Smoot is indeed the guy who proposed the big bang theory and he was playing himself at the end. Neat.

Sheldon refuses to take the train, just like Rain Man. But . . . Sheldon's the one who insisted on taking the train . . . . It's even been established in previous eps that he loves trains. Continuity rocks. It's like the writers know us or something. Oh! I also forgot to mention how much I loved that Raj mentioned Firefly. I squeed. ;D

Not refusing. Though I guess his reasons are different from Rain Man's. I missed the references to trains in the previous episodes. Total eetah about the continuity of the show.

"OK now I see the giant squid head." "I was just talking about bees. They're on the Discovery channel. What are you talking about?" I think I love scenes with Penny and Sheldon together the most of all. OMG, when Penny used the Star Trek analogy and freaked herself out? Too! Funny! ;D

Watching... the one before last. These have such complicated titles and I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment. Secret Agent Laser Obstacle Chess. Awesome. I wonder who comes up with these recreational ideas. The writers or the consultant? Or do they collaborate? I think it's nice that whatshisname is equal opportunity oogler. And then the guys take over Penny's business. Everything is better with bluetooth. Hee. Noooo!!! Don't give Sheldon coffee!!! See what you've done?!

I think I love scenes with Penny and Sheldon together the most of all. OMG, when Penny used the Star Trek analogy and freaked herself out? Too! Funny! ;D I love that Sheldon was completely out of the loop wrt to Penny 2.0. I mean, aside from his concern about her disrupting his sense of order in the universe. He had absolutely no concept of why the other guys would be fawning over her or why she would make Penny feel insecure. Like he was living on an entire different plane of existence.

It was such a classic Sheldon moment.
