And he outs her as being on a bootless junket. Who are these Pinehurst people? Dude! Who indeed? And now I'm totally freaking out because there is a mysterious building in my neighborhood that I've always wondered what the hell it is. And its name? Pinehurst!! Eeeeeep! Lock her up or put her to work, eh? It seems to be a bit of a coin flip which one they'll pick in any given situation. **nods** Totally!

Well, there goes your whole "this comes from God" thing, Nathan. Unless your mom and crew are God.
Well . . . ;D
Run, Maya, run!! Run from the spider-man's lair!!! Well, damn. This is not good. Really not good. Monster!! Eeep!

So who decked Monroe, and what was that corpse he dumped off the van? Who is this guy, and who does he work for?
"Oh, Tracy, we don't care about you"
"divided the formula and hid it" because we were simple-minded morons.
Angela Petrelli still strikes me as being more like Angela Landsbury from Manchurian Cantidate than ever. I can't feel much pity for her.
Woohoo! Spider-Mo-Mo is gonna get flushed out into the light!
Huh. he's already cocooned Maya.
So she's gonna get Canfield to surrender the easy way?
Huh! kill Sylar for freedom. This is interesting, because if I recall correctly, Sylar has the super-hearing package add-on...
Noah, squishify his brains before Sylar gets ahold of him..
Oh. he did himself. Well, that's one way to assert your moral superiority.
"we are the worst heroes ever!!!" I do adore Ando.
NEVER say "it can't get any worse"
"Yes! We are very badass!"
What IS fear-man's name?
Hah! the other two are all "Kill Ando?"
Don't you dare/.ahd WHAT THE HELLL?!??!?!??!?!!?!?!?

<major snipping> The worse thing is Peter, who was and should be a hero if ever there was one, about to kill his mother and being stopped by Sylar. I worry a bit that HEROES will not last much longer if it takes characters we like and make them unrecognizable... i started to write something similar this evening, but didn't post it. i don't really get what the writers are doing by, one by one, making the characters that the audience could sometimes sympathize with, relate to, or similar, become unrecognizable to us. in addition to the people you mention, so far this season it seems to me that hiro is being portrayed as a bumbling screw-up.

Hooray for dysfunctional families with Sylar add-on!
"I'm nothing but a monster" well, Sylar, you kind of ARE a monster.
*hearts Noah Bennett protecting his family*
"Are you okay? Because if you are, you are so grounded"
Yep, I figured Meredith had had a previous tie to the one she went after. This is interesting and disturbing. in amongst a bunch of freaky dolls.
Angela back at her office... Ah, Peter's awake. Oh! she's dreaming the future.
Linderman and Daphne.. who else is she supposed to recruit? oh. Parkman. Heh. She figures it out quick!
This will be easy, as Parkman's already after her... following behind that turtle.
ah. Here's Linderman.. no, apparently not, it's Petrelli, and Papa Parkman is playing the part of Linderman to everyone.
Okay, if Hiro and Ando don't reconcile, the HELL with this show. That was WHAT got me into this show in the first place, and if Hiro goes all asshole in pursuit of the greater good? Screw it. I got other things to watch on Monday.

Man. It's just all mutants against mutants all the time, isn't it? What this company did to you was wrong, we know that now. Oh yeah, easy to know now that it was wrong. Now that you already have your results, eh? Damn. HRG asking Steven to kill Sylar and Claire telling him not to. This is just totally all twisted 'round, isn't it? "I won't be a monster." And he sends himself off into the vortex. Damn! "The world is depending on us." "The world is screwed!" Heeee! ;D Ando, I still love you. "We are bad-asses now!" "Yes! We are very bad-ass!" ;D ;D ;D Oh, Hiro! He didn't really do that, did he? He'll fix it in time and space or something, yes? Or he went back and set it up so that didn't really happen like that, yes?

I got other things to watch on Monday. i absolutely agree. hiro, ando, and peter were the three most interesting characters to me, and this show seems worrying close to destroying the relationship between the first two and the character of the third.

Man. How horrible for Claire to have to sit there and hear Sylar say the things that feeling more true to her than her dad right now. Both of them are monsters to her now, in their own way. "It's all gonna be OK?" WTF?! Ah! Icky guy can make you do anything he want. Ewwww! And momma P is having dreams again. Who is that guy? Eeeeeeeep!!! Mr Petrelli is the mastermind guy?! Nice surprise!

for heaven's sake, what did they think adam would do? did mama P know this would happen, or is this another of her "brilliant" plans? All their plans keep messing up and cancelling each other out! Seriously.

Peter, Mohinder, and gods help us, Hiro have all turned from heroes into monsters; unless Hiro/Ando had some kind of plan and the stabbing was part of it. But it's awful to see Peter become psycho-Sylar. And I still think Sylar is conning everyone except possibly Claire - who I think he respects, and wants to suborn.
And Papa Petrelli is the Eebil Mastermind? Oh-kay.

Nice surprise!Only if you missed all the NBC promos for this episode—stupid idiots in the advertising department revealed that Papa Petrelli was the leader of the villains and the one pulling all the strings. So if you watched any NBC show live, as I did, you were pretty much screwed. Idiots.

How?! How could it be worse?! No, don't tell me. **weeps over the poor beautiful Momo now turning into mutant spiderguy who is molting** He could eat all the people he wants if he'd just stay pretty and non-moulty!! **pouts** ;D Yup. That's oh so very Claire. Alas, Poor Mohinder. Once an upstanding major Hunk and scientist, now a Spider-monster. I really don't like what they've done with him (though I might forgive him a lot if he kills Maya - oh, will he?).
Is it just me, or is Claire's sudden quest to kill villains a bit out of character? I mean, it seems as if the writers didn't know what to do with her between high school cheerleading and adulthood; and, I guess, taking a year off to travel or something was out.
And while Sylar's attempts at reformation are interesting, he still gives me the creeps. I'm not sure he's for real.
The worse thing is Peter, who was and should be a hero if ever there was one, about to kill his mother and being stopped by Sylar. I worry a bit that HEROES will not last much longer if it takes characters we like and make them unrecognizable...Of course, I worry that HEROES won't last more than one more season at best anyway, all this multiple season stuff is fun for me, but I fear it's a bit beyond many non-SF-oriented viewers.
GAIL I'm loving all the multiple time-line and so on stuff too, even in all it's complex WTF-ness. Whether all viewers can handle it or will like it, however, is a good question. I'm hoping that many of our characters will keep going thru transformations, so that if they go thru a "not happy" patch they will eventually come out of it too. Or die, I guess. Or keep going bad and become villains. Or something.
