There were Doctor Who references? I missed them. The fake IDs - "I got Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy, Tom Baker...". Eliot was Air Marshall Tom Baker. Heh. And Sophie's alias was Sarah Jane... ETA: Oops, I see that's been mentioned already. And, being a big fan of Nero Wolfe, I hope Hutton gets a chance to play an "Archie Goodwin"-type in one of the scams. He really nailed that role for me.

I count 3 Joss people in tonight's Leverage. Danny Strong, Sam Anderson (Holland Manners) and CK, of course. Cool.

I looked up and saw "directed by Tony Bill."
Please, please, tell me I'm not the only one who knows who Tony Bill is?
Julia, suspect Tim Hutton has known Tony Bill all his life.

I know who he is, now. He's got quite a few credits to his name, but I suspect he's one of those "unsung" heroes whose names rarely stick in the public's minds.

Such a magnificently crafted character.

There was a time in the sixties when he was on TV pretty much every day- the sane, straight version of Sal Mineo. He played Frank Sinatra's little brother about ten times. Played Biff to Rod Steiger's Willy Loman. And produced "The Sting" among other things: having him direct an episode with Danny Strong has a pleasing symmetry. Julia, I was a fan, what can I say

I've heard that Fox is airing episodes all out of the intended order (I know, shocking), so there may actually be stronger long term story arcs that it appears.

Also: Snow Job? *snorfle*
I am not sure whether the showrunners intended that or not.

And Jonathan Frakes was the guy in the waiting room! Hee! I can't believe I missed that.
Yes, the out of orderness is starting to bug me because that episode was clearly out of place. Why do they do things like that? So dumb.

CBS is also airing Flashpoint out of order; I think there's epidemic stoopid lately. Julia, this is especially annoying when there's character development subtext or text, as is the case in Leverage and Flashpoint.
