Part II Kara and Lee together again. All I know is I'm tired of being blind. In more ways than one, I'd imagine. The Agathons back in the brig again. All the Cylons together. Sharon thinks they're going to use them as bargaining chips against Cavill's faction. I'm not so sure that's the plan. Yeah, me too. I mean, for one thing? It's a bad plan. 'Cuz Cavill just wants to kill all the humans too. Yeah! I mean, he's done some "special" stuff, yes, but no more than any of the other Cylons. Or heck, less than Kara and she's supposedly not a Cylon. Yep. I think they're wrong, but . . .

watching act 1 now. i've gotta say that that if you're going to start a revolution, having the communications officer head it is a pretty good strategy. ;D It really is the perfect place to be both sneaky and comprehensive, isn't it?

I thought that was a brilliant depiction of the way these things go sometimes. Our protagonists clearly didn't see it coming when they should have, and didn't understand what was happening when it started happening. Again it holds a certain similarity to current events. Only Lee seems to be able to understand things as a whole. He will probably end up in the strongest position when all this is over. Excellent depiction of chaotic scrambling and how both "sides" are spiralling out of control. Lee tends to be underestimated more often than seems wise.

LOLOL! I swear Roslin said "well-hung, sense of self-preservation". Shows where my mind is. Bwah! I watch the show On Demand, which for some reason doesn't have closed captioning, so I miss a lot of the fast moving dialog on this show. I read your post and thought, damn, I can't believe I missed that!

Heh! Counting on Baltar's sense of self-preservation. "Maybe we're both frauds and this is our last chance to atone." Ooooooh! Gaeta, are you gonna make a a big ol' "I'm in charge" speech now? 'Cuz that's . . . well, less that completely true. "We can fine tune our rationalizations later." Heh! And perfect timing for Roslin's message. Well, she got out most of her message, so that's good. I think. Heeeeeee! Lee and Starbuck find Adama and Tigh. Adama wants to let the kid leave, Starbuck not so much. With that kid? He was right and she was wrong. Lee makes the rather accurate point that in some ways, Zarek is right. I mean, he's not, and he does what he's doing only for his own reasons, but . . . "What do I want? I want this to stop. It doesn't become you, this . . . treason." Telling him he's a good man. Oooh. "Sealed with a special pen." Yep, all the old stuff is coming out. Awwww. Watching mommy and daddy make out. Don't worry about her, knows what he has to do. Tigh and Adama. Last stand at the old Galactica. Are ya gonna do it, Gaeta? Are you gonna order them to blow the ship up with the president? Hmmmmm? "It's been an honor to have served with you, my friend." Damn! Break my heart now, will ya? Are they really gonna kill them? I LOVED that scene! They have reached an understanding.

That the guy who replaced Dualla (sorry, can't remember his name) and Gaeta either are or were dating played heavily into his ability to keep the ruse going.

I really want Gaeta to get his comeuppance. I'm so pissed at him and Zarek. This is nonsense. Ah my twisty Gaeta. So damaged and warped and lost lost lost. I want him and his plot stopped, but then not hurt or killed, just contained. So he can start to heal his psyche. And if that happened to coincide with him coming to terms with his unexpressed (until then) deep lust love for Anders (or Helo, I'm not picky), well - I'm all for redemption stories. Ah, Lola. I've missed your subtextiness.
