I know. Mostly because it suggests that somehow the present and the past have to interact before it's all said and done—at present, it's the only way I can think of that explains how one of the Others (or Ben) could know that it'll be needed one day. That's what I was thinking. I find it interesting that The Others in the present seemed so mysterious to the Losties, but through all this backstory, the Losties must seem so mysterious to The Others. Oh, nicely put!

Interesting that Sayid gets deemed to be an Other/Hostile, since that reflects the types of suspicions present in the present, as well as the accusations Sayid received at the beginning of season 1. Lots of parallels to first season, what with the plane crash and new survivors and all.

Oh.... "They are so disorganized on 'the other side'". The other side of what? Sayid in the hot seat. Ooo...the monster is back. Christian! "Follow me." ooo.... I wonder who is left on the Island of "now", so to speak. Only the Others and Christian? Maybe only just Christian?

I wonder about Hurley.

Can't wait to see how the reunion goes... Namaste From Wikipedia: "I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me." -- attributed to author Deepak Chopra[3] "I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One."[4][5] "I salute the God within you." "Your spirit and my spirit are ONE." -- attributed to Lilias Folan's shared teachings from her journeys to India.[citation needed] "That which is of the Divine in me greets that which is of the Divine in you."[6] "The Divinity within me perceives and adores the Divinity within you."[7] "All that is best and highest in me greets/salutes all that is best and highest in you." "I greet the God within." Or as Hurley would say.....Nama what? ;D

Christian shows a picture of the Losties in DHARMA. Sort of like in The Shining.
And there they are taking the picture.
Sayid gets marshaled past the other Losties.
Is whatshisname suspicious of the Losties? Is DHARMA going to think that the Losties are Other/Hostile spies and that's what causes the "incident?"
Jack and Juliet reunion.
Sawyer and Jack. Leadership styles. Reckoning. Really nice scene there.
I sense the quadrangle of DOOOOM is about to implode spectacularly.
Is this young Ben? It is! OMG!!!!!!!
So Ben definitely knows Sayid.
Ooh!!!!

"He's with your friends." **cue wicked wind and smoky looking swirls** "I'm sorry, but you have a bit of a journey ahead of you." Yeah, I'd say that's a bit of an understatement. Get him some food - and then the little look, to let Sayid know Sawyer is working on it. Don't call him James 'cuz he hates it? But that's what Juliet calls him. Ha! Not the wrong house. I'm really loving this calm, confident Sawyer. ;D Now, ain't that a relief? Yeah. OK, I'm liking this Jack, too. ;D Oh. Oh my. Is this little Ben? And is he trying to make contact with the Hostiles, so he can later make a deal to kill all the Dharma-ites? Hell, yes it is!! Oh, that was juicy goodness!

Ben is like what would happen if Voldemort had completely possessed Harry Potter.

I wonder who is left on the Island of "now", so to speak. Only the Others and Christian? Maybe only just Christian? I wonder. A completely deserted island is almost freakier than an island with kidnapping, torturing, manipulating, murdering Others. Especially at night.

I have a feeling that watching James and Juliet is going to kill me dead—broken heart. Cripes, the preview alone...

Or as Hurley would say.....Nama what? ;D ;D I gotta admit, I'm always surprised / intrigued by the fact that the Dharma folks seem to be all Hippie-Zen-Commune types, except they are also running around with guns shooting "hostiles", putting up violent fence barricades, and generally being a bit, well, imperialistic. Seems an . . . odd mix, eh?

Is whatshisname suspicious of the Losties? That's the vibe I'm getting. There seems to be this undercurrent of suspicion among several of the Dharma-ites. That is an interesting possibility. Oh, if only the implosion would lead to an island-wide orgy . . . So. Amazingly. Cool!!
