What the hell, Supernatural?! I now have an idea for another vid. This muse is showing no sign of loosening its reins on me. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) This one covers all seasons though, instead of just season four. So at least I won't be poring over the same clips again. But, that also means I have a lot more footage to cover, so it's going to take a while longer to do. ![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/excite/dance.gif)

Poison Ivy Update: THE GOOD NEWS: My face has at least 50% less wrinkles, and I have lips like Angelina Jolie! (Or maybe more like Lisa Rinna.) THE BAD NEWS: My skin is red and puffy, and my eyes are tiny slits. I am at work, wearing a big pair of sunglasses and trying to stay too busy to itch. I can ![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/love/bighug.gif) because I'm immune. Get better. Thanks. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I am not contagious; I washed all the irritant (the oil from the nasty weed) off days ago. I used to be immune until I was in my late 30's/early 40's or so. One day, as I always did, I blithely weeded out some poision ivy. Didn't think twice about it, took no more care than if I were weeding dandelions. I wasn't wearing gloves. I had on shorts. A few days later, I had a horrendous rash - had to go to the doc because of how bad the blistering was, on my legs. Don't know why it changed so suddenly, but I've been susceptible ever since.

I'm gonna say . . . Dean is featured in it . . . and the song you're going to use is "Mony-Mony," because you figure that is as close as you're going to get to "Monnie, Monnie" and you especially like all the "you make me feel so good, Mony, Mony" stuff. Mony, MonyHere she comes now, say, Mony, Mony. Shoot 'em down, turn around, come on, Mony. Hey, she give me love and I feel all right now. You gotta toss and turn in the middle of the night, And I feel all right. I say Yeah (Yeah) Yeah (Yeah) ......... 'Cause you make me feel (Mony, Mony) so (Mony, Mony) good.(Mony, Mony) ........ Well I feel all right, Yeah (Yeah) Yeah (Yeah) .... Wake me, shake me, Mony, Mony Shot gun dead and come on, Mony, Don't stop cookin', it feels so good Yeah Hey don't stop now. Hey, come on! Mony, Come on Mony Yeah! (Yeah) Yeah (Yeah) Yeah..... 'Cause You make me feel (Mony, Mony) so (Mony, Mony) good.(Mony, Mony) ........ Well I feel all right, Yeah (Yeah) Yeah (Yeah) ... Hrmph. I've finally got time and no distraction, so I should be creating, yes? I've been sewing lines of beads down, and ripping them out and doing them over, and it just, well - my skills are not up to my ideas, I guess. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) It doesn't help that my creative vision is rather fuzzy. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I'm going to keep working, though. I want this thing OVER.

Allergies are like that. The come on without warning and can disappear the same way. I have a doctor's appointment for tomorrow. Am having some trouble breathing. That is, the air is going in and out okay, but doesn't seem to be doing much when it's there. I'm also suspecting that I have developed sleep apnea. I'm dropping off to sleep at unexpected times and I'm waking up a lot at night. This could be the reason for the falling asleep during the day. Then there's the legs. I really hate my legs. They don't work as well as they used to. There's a pain in my hip that I suspect is arthritis and I'm stiff in all the joints--and they feel like they weigh 40 tons apiece. Did I mention the edema in my feet? So--doctor visit. 'Course she's going to tell me I have to lose weight. And I'm going to tell her how many diets I've been on and how each one ended up with me regaining every pound plus all the friends they bring along. Okay. So I'm cranky and unsocial, too.

Doctor visits suck. ![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/love/comfort.gif) I hate diets, too. Been on a lot of different ones, and had the same experience as you have - gaining the weight back when I went off them. So, I quit 'dieting' a few years back, and started eating the foods I like, but in gradually less stomach shrinking quantities. It worked - fast. With no heaving exercising, although I did bike and walk a few times a week. - sporadically. Actually, what I think helped me was that I also started taking a fiber supplement (acacia powder - good reference is Heather's IBS website). It fills your stomach up a bit and keeps things moving along. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Doctor visit sounds like a good idea. Let us know how it goes. I am starting to get some hip pain/stiffness in the morning. Dad had trouble with his hip as he got older (arthritis) and I suspect I am heading in that direction. Aging - definitely has its minuses, along with its pluses.

It didn't help that Billy Idol's version was released when I was in high school. No matter what the lyrics said, my painfully self-conscious and shy self always thought people were making fun of me when they sang it. Of course, I know when you're singing it it's because you love me so much and can't help but burst into song at my wonderfulness. And I know that if Dean were to ever sing it around me it would be for that exact same reason. Amazing what 20 years can do for a person's self-esteem. ;D

Oh, and just to update those who suggested I take some time off to recuperate from the horrific week I had last week . . . I'm off work until Monday. *does happy dance* Doc and I were able to finagle it so's I can be off tomorrow while she's out of town. I'm on standby and have to make sure I'm near my phone at all times in case they have problems at the clinic, but other than that I am free! ![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/cheers/woot.gif)
