They have lots of tunic-y things and pants and jackets . . . How about cool low-slung pants and a cool jacket, but open so we see the very low-cut top that she'll go out in after work when she takes the jacket off? And the pants and jacket are cobalt, but the blouse is pale pale sky blue? This isn't wild enough for us, is it? Slashes!! Cut the jacket and pants up with large slashes! And then put some deep cobalt dyed leather on it somehow, and chains. And we'll say she works in a dominatrix company!

Everyone is making dresses? So, pants would stand out, right? Or how about pants AND an skirt that you could substitute in if you want? Oh!! Or pants that Become a skirt! Like they tear down the middle and then zip or stick together to become a long slim skirt? Or a hat that you push out the top and pull it down and it's a skirt!! OMG, yes!

When I was having my hair done, all the fashion mags were showing tall boots for the upcoming season! A hat . . . or maybe . . . Ooooh, maybe long blue gloves? Like the the evil blue hands guys in Serenity!! That would fit our M.O.

I like the shades of blue, by the way - the very bright at the top and then darker - looks sophisticated!

Runway!
Irina (Gordana) – very flowy, a bit shapeless, a bit blah.
Gordana (Irina) – the blouse is pretty, but whole thing is also a bit blah.
Althea / Logan– the suit is a pretty idea, but damn, that skirt! I mean, is she a working girl or, you know, a working girl? The jacket is very cute.
Althea / Logan – (how are these pair things working, anyway?) this is also a bit blah looking with the color, frankly, (why is no one using an electric or bright or deep blue?) Top is kind of pretty, but the pants are . . . a bit odd in the cut.
Louise / Nicolas – um. The ruffly bits are just a bit too much on this one, for me. And seem oddly stuck on, too.
Louise / Nicolas – now, this one I like. I like that it wasn’t just one diagonal slash of ruffle, the pattern on the front is cool. And the dress itself is nicely cut.
Carol Hannah / Shirin – Pretty! I do like the color they picked for the top and the look is simple, but interesting (finally!) The skirt is . . . dull. Man, so many of these are dull!
Carol Hannah / Shirin – Leggins are blah blah, but the top is pretty. Again, I’d have used a brighter or deeper color (where is the color saturation, people!), but it’s a pretty tunic-y look, which seems to fit the Inc brand.
Christopher / Epperson – the shine of the fabric is pretty, but the design is a bit flat to me.
Christopher / Epperson – hmmmm. Shiny bubble with jabot and leggings. Ok.
Hmmmmm. None of them stunned me, frankly! Dull!!

OK - I added hat, gloves, boots, and some attention getting baubles on the dress (we don't want to be a snoozefest): Very blue. This is definitely the bluest of all.

Top and bottom! Carol Hannah / Shirin they like - I agree with the sophisticated and that they got the brand. Irina / Gordana they like the floaty one more than me. Granted, the pattern is prettier up close than it looked on the runway. And they love the top of Gordana's, so yay. Louise / Nicolas they do not like. So, did they hate the party ruffly stuff? Yeah, they hate it. I agree. Ugh! "Don't you have immunity? Aren't you lucky?" Oh, snap! Christopher / Epperson - what is the neck thing on the bubble and the shirt dress is dull. Yeah, I agree. They do not go together at all, dude. Who will win? Who will be bounced? I'm thinking bounce Louise and give the win to Irina 'cuz they love the floaty so much. But we'll see, eh? One or more of you? Whoa! Yep, Irina of the floaty wins! And the auf'd is Louise. Well, did I call them or what!

Yes, indeed - no snoozefests from us! The big shoulder puff thing and the hat? They scare me! Um. Because they are so fabulous, that's it! Yes, terrifyingly cutting-edge. And her skirt, it's glowing!! It's positively radioactive! ;D

I've been on a horrible and debilitating fanfic tear. Needless to say I've neglected the laundry so long that I'm now forced to wear the uncomfortable underpants. Anyway, an interesting writer I found is Kalima. She writes Spuffy fanfic, but it certainly isn't fluffy. It can be very sad and her Spike and Buffy struggle, with themselves and each other. Her voices for all the characters are so true that you can tell who's speaking even when she doesn't indicate it. And then sometimes she'll have a line so funny, you'll bust out laughing when you never saw it coming. Here's one of her longer stories in which Spike tries to recover after being attacked by a pack of (literally) vengeful demon/angels: www.fanfiction.net/s/977213/1/RadianceAnd this is a short piece I really liked: www.fanfiction.net/s/455837/1/Ketchup_Blood(I'm going to cross-post this in fanfic recs as well.)

FlashForward is moving their mystery along at a nice clip. LOLAAAA - Don't forget your passport tomorrow! Also, if you have any music you want to hear on the trip, bring CDs. I don't have much. Oh, now you say something, when I'm 2 hours away from most of my cds, and I don't have any cases to hold the cds I do have. I don't think . . . . . *tries to remember to run to car to check before getting on the shuttle tomorrow*

The chorus for this actually gave me chills. An amazing creation someone pulled together from Sagan's work on Cosmos, and the best use of the Auto-Tune Software ever.

FlashForward is moving their mystery along at a nice clip. It has a lot of the feel of early "Heroes" about it to me. But I think I'm getting to like the characters.
