Why do I not want to do Faire this year? Could it have anything at all to do with the answer I just wrote to luvmyfirefly? Julia, I know that's a place I myself am living in right now.

SO neat! I think steampunk s is a fandom that Ian would have liked. A friend loaned us a copy of Steamboy and he really enjoyed it.

They sell a book about vampires, werewolves and parasols. www.clockworkcouture.com/?q=node/176And you can buy the ensemble featured on the cover. Too much fun! I've noticed the style edging into mainstream. I have a highwasted pencil skirt and blouse that begs for that vest, or a wide belt.

Brain full of cotton wool today. Please translate into words of one syllable and simple one-two step logic and maybe I will get it. *Dropping into another narcoleptic state*No promises, though.

Great. Like I didnt have enough to do. Now I've got to go find out who I am. Again. To Do List:1. Buy groceries. 2. Fix toilet 3. Get new tires and brakes 4. Do laundry 4. Re-establish identity I'll be in my bunk.

Perhaps you're living in a Faulkner novel and that makes it hard to get in touch with the bits of you which are at home in fifteenth century Europe? Or, in shorter words: reality is so big right now that you can't see thedoor marked exit? Julia, ask me after I get past the wedding tomorrow and maybe I can bear the plain truth sufficiently well to put it in plain words. Right now, metaphor is my blankie.
