Monnie -- congrats on the AL guy getting the Heisman. Wow, thank you for saying this because my day was so crazy and hectic I had no idea the vote had even happened, let alone that Ingram had won. And thank you for the congrats. He's worked really hard and he's a good guy, so he deserved it (as well I'm sure the other candidates did, too). Alabama's first Heisman winner. FINALLY. I didn't stop to think that you wouldn't know. Glad to give you good news. You did have a crazy busy day. Malls, especially on weekends, this close to Christmas freak me out too. I love internet shopping!

Love the gingerbread cookies, Matthew.
Damn, between your description of the Four Winds International Market and Monnie's description of the Melting Pot I'm really hungry now.

Trust me when I tell you. . .. ;D My mother knitted some boiled wook purses I'm sure I have some pictures somewhere of at least two of them. I'm just lining them. Eventually. ;D My bracelets are nothing elaborate, stretchy chord with no clasps, but people seem to like them around here and I might try to sell a few and see how it goes. I crocheted a bunch of wash cloths and a scarf for my friend. I am making a scarf for my cousin that is also, shall we say, irregular. ;D Once I put a border on it, though, it shouldn't be too noticeable. I hope. It's Michigan State colors for my cousin who took such good care of my Zak while were busy at the hospital with dad. She's an MSU alum whose son is going there next year. I hope she likes it just for that reason. If I can figure out how to work dad's camera, or one of them at least, or maybe use my phone, I'll take some pics of the bracelets (I could scan them, I suppose), and some crochet samples, if you guys are interested. I'll look for pics of the purses. How on earth do you fit a wookiee into a pot to boil him in the first place? Thanks for pointing out my typo, I needed that. Boiled wooL! Not boiled wook. ;D
