Yeah, Erin had mentioned something to me about doing a thread on the board here. I'll need to discuss with Spring about whether we'd want it to be our main "thing" (especially since we don't even know what we want our "thing" to be yet), but I think it'd be great just to have a general thread here for that, if enough people are up for it. Yes, Monnie & I are in the middle of discussing this with Erin - we'll be back with everyone soon . . . in the meantime, feel free to IM me ideas or post them. Well, research I've done suggests that keeping food diary is one of the very best weight loss methods. But it's helpful to have accountability to someone. I've often toyed with looking for an accountability partner, but (honestly) not sure I would be honest. Likewise, I need someone to be accountable to regarding daily exercise. Again, it's not so much how long or how intense the exercise is but doing it regularly -- at least to start. Intensity can be increased later. I have a couple of excellent books that stress the "pick one thing you are going to do today" approach but they've been lying on a shelf. Finally, if you start a thread I'd be happy to post what I know about the parameters of the LA Weight Loss program. It was very effective for me -- when I stuck to it -- and I have most of the program outline somewhere.

Hey, Anne and other Bradley Whitford fans: he's doing a press conference for a new show he's in (called Code 58) and I just saw a reporter tweet this:
Bradley Whitford, asked about the health bill says he thinks we should pass it, pauses, and then adds, "...I wear makeup for a living."
Love the snark. ;D

aaaaand... now he's home again. Dizzy. After not eating most of his breakfast, after not coming to bed until 6am. Why, one would ask, would one be busy after that?
Julia, could it be... natural and expected?

And thanks for the comfort and hugs; I'm just exhausted trying to yank him out of what's pretty much hysteria while doing the OMG I FORGOT MY INSULIN argh, again.
Anna left for work at 11:15; Franklin came in at &:25, and I got forgot in the middle, again.
Julia, I am no good at taking care of more than one or 1.5 people these days
