Spartacus: Blood and Sand This is the place to discuss all the gory and lusty happenings of those crazy kids! Post any spoilers here and I'll mess your sh*t up, gladiator-style. I haven't had a good kill in ages.

Doesn't anybody want to talk about Spartacus? Or Lucrecia or Batiatus or somebody?

Doesn't anybody want to talk about Spartacus? Or Lucrecia or Batiatus or somebody? Next episode I'll be full of stuff to say, I'm sure. I really want to see how Spartacus comes out of this experience.

I'd have to agree, though I read an article that may have spoiled me a bit for some of it. I won't say anymore, but I'm really looking forward to this week's ep.

So Batiatus really was behind Sura's death. What a non-shock. It had to be him or Lucretia.
And people are getting suspicious.
Poor Pietros.

Poor Pietros, indeed. And, that Doctore, he's a clever one.

Oh, the irony. Spartacus to play the slayer of Thracians. That's gonna turn out well.

Turned out better than I thought, in the short run. But, we know Spartacus harbors some resentment over the whole thing. I knew he was going to embrace the role of gladiator and go for it all the way, for the time being, but I wasn't expecting the "I am Spartacus" moment so soon. Nice.

I caught the last 20 minutes or so of Spartacus last night. Was I seeing things or did they amputate that recruit's penis? I think that might take the cake for the gross-out award this week.

Yep. They sure did. Ouch. Poor slob. Put his faith in his domina, Illithia. Oopsie. Crixus is an honorable man, at least within the parameters permitted by circumstance and the mores of the times.

And Batiatus isn't. Payback's gonna be hell. Looking forward to tonight's ep. Is this the season ender?

Watched this (yay for Netflix streaming) and liked it. Didn't take notes while watching, though. Love the actors and the writing and the production values. Graphic in every sense of the word.
