Thank you all for your good wishes and hurrahs! It is nice to have a little income, and use some of my skills.
In board-related news, I went ahead and stickied the Sherlock thread in the ILLLTV section, since it debuts tonight in the UK. Of course, any spoilers here on the main thread will make my head explode, so, there's that.

Which Sherlock character are you?
I was Mrs Hudson, the landlady. It said that I "am a landlady, NOT a housekeeper," and " I keep my eye on my boys."

Hee! I was Mycroft: "You are snooty, reserved, and know more than you are willing to let on."

Howdy, long day already and I'm just now finishing breakfast two hours after I started.
Julia, don't ask; it's to do with "must be taken with food" pills and what must happen Saturday night for that to be possible Sunday.

We don't have the coldest weather or the most snow but it certainly is entertaining to watch the thermometer dropping 1 degree each 5 minutes.

Molly Hooper here. Buried and waiting for snow tires. Got stuck this morning. First time ever. I am officially cranky.

Which Golden Girl are you?
My results:
You are Rose. There is an innocence about you that others find appealing and endearing. You never judge anyone and never listen to gossip. Your life is based on truth and values and you naturally believe everyone else wants to live the same. There have been times when your heart was too trusting, but you never let these moments change your beliefs. You are the one everyone wishes they could be!
It's times like this when I really miss Patti. I can just imagine her comments on this . . .

Hee! Well, you are very appealing and endearing! I got Sophia: "Wit and quick comebacks are two of your strengths. You think on your feet and sometimes can shock people with your truthful insights. Yes, you can be very honest with people, but this does not mean you do not care about their feelings. It is quite the opposite- you care very much about the people close to you and try to shield them from pain. You may be outspoken, but nobody could ask for a better friend!"

I am part Sophia, part Stan. "You are part Sophia. Wit and quick comebacks are two of your strengths. You think on your feet and sometimes can shock people with your truthful insights. Yes, you can be very honest with people, but this does not mean you do not care about their feelings. It is quite the opposite- you care very much about the people close to you and try to shield them from pain. You may be outspoken, but nobody could ask for a better friend!" "You are part Stan. You are a little introverted and do not crave attention. You tend to keep just a handful of close friends and cringe when you have to go to big gatherings. You like the free things in life- like a beautiful sunset and the laugh of a child. You are super sensitive and this means your feelings can get hurt a little easier than most. Your friends love and respect you." Also, I got Mrs Hudson for the Sherlock poll. I have no idea what that means, though.

Amazingly, I am Rose too. Seriously. No. Really. Bought snow tires. Five hours of waiting at Belle Tire with local television and crappy daytime talk shows on I can now drive.

She was my favorite character.

Agents of SHIELD is back this week, but not in Britain. Channel 4 has for some reason decided to be further behind now. I guess they didn't like all the week long gaps; British TV doesn't do that and they lost viewers. Like, half the viewers are gone since the first episode. Not awesome.
So now I am waaaaaaaiting to see what happened to Coulson. I know the internet could provide, but my computer prefers a text based internet. I guess I should get the big computer to behave. I'd still rather just wait and get it legally on the TV, but the TV channels are not cooperating with my good behaviour. And now I've got to avoid spoilers for rather longer, which wasn't working perfectly even Tuesday to Friday. Annoyance.
On the other hand, it's still only Coulson I'm watching for. So it kind of needs to up its game. Which is sad, cause I was really trying to like it.
Most TV is not available on the actual TV box. If I got Sky TV I'd have a ton more channels and some of the shows people actually talk about, but also have to pay every month, and on the whole I can live without. I think I still end up paying it on DVD box sets, but since I likely would do either way, this is thriftier.
Lots of the world watches on download now though. It's kind of weird watching tech trends pass me by. I'd kind of like it if the old ways just continue working.
