Hey, guys. Not sure what is up but Yahoo is not letting me access the website account whatsoever. It is acting like the domain is "available." Not sure what is going on or who to talk to for sure. The website is paid as a direct withdrawal from my debit card account so it is "always" paid, except for those few times (as you all probably remember) that I forgot to change the account to my replacement card when the old one expired. My card is fairly new; in fact I had to fix the account sometime earlier this year if you remember. This is a mess up on the Yahoo side of things so bear with me. It could take some time to correct.

Does this thing actually work?
<edit> Apparently so! Okay. Well, then.

Well, if we get it back we ought to start that project (saving contact asap). If somebody tells me how I can work on it.

Well. This isn't good. Thanks to Vlad for working on it. And, hey, about that new format, it was worse before I accidentally tinkered with it to get the colors, at least, as close as possible to the old format.

Oh, and if we get the site back, I will volunteer, with Sue to start saving content (once I learn how-I'm a bad technopagan).

I'm home. The surgery went well, they were able to remove the whole growth along with the right half of my thyroid, and I can talk. It hurts, but I have a voice. I'm not going to talk to my mother today, though; I think I deserve a few days off, and besides, I have a nasty sore throat.
I still have the drain in my neck, and I have to go back tomorrow to have that out, along with the various bandages. There will still be stitches, and in due course, a nice scar. Just call me Igorina.
For such a big HMO, they aren't very organized - I couldn't get my pain meds because the pharmacy needed extra paperwork for narcotics. Paul decided to take me home, go to work, and go by the pharmacy again on his way home.

There are days when I feel like this: New snow tires last week due to extreme getting stuckness. 5 hours in Belle Tire watching local television and inane talk shows. Brand new tire blows Saturday night. Needs replacement. Could not drive where I needed to go with spare so wanted to drive old wagon. Had to jump with car missing tire and hard-to-access battery. Finally got it started. Had to dig out of mountains of snow. Sigh. Waiting for new tire, which, naturally, has to be special ordered.

Paul tried and tried, but the pharmacy still won't give me my pain meds. I'm going to have a talk with the doctor tomorrow, when I go in to get the drain removed. It's going to be a very long and sore night...
Also, I'm supposed to empty the drain every six hours and write down the volume - and the nurse gave me a container with no measurements on it. So I have to peer at the markings on the bulb and estimate. Gah.
I finally had Emily call my mother, because my mother decided to play games and not call for updates. I guess if she can't talk to me, she won't talk to anybody, pout pout.

Still no website and no news from Vlad. Stating the obvious.
