Is this what happens when Peter gets around too many special people? Oh, like he gets overwhelmed by it all coming at him at once?

too bad they both can't get taken apart. Oh, don't tell him to concentrate, Hiro.. Holy crap, it worked. I know! That was just so . . . sad and chilling. I wonder if he and Eden were planning their break from Mr. Bennet together? A double whammy ending, that was.

Mutual confessions between Claire and cheer!daddy. And he tells her there are "others" out there like Sylar . . . . Cop is having worse headaches. Boy, nice coincidence that the Buffy ep today was "Earshot". Dogs - bitches - we keep it in the canine family. ;D ;D ;D I like thos woman. "You get in trouble, I drop everything to help you." Awwww. "That's because you can't" (stop the big bomb) and then eeeeeeeep!!! he turns into Sylar. OK, what person was he around that he got that power from? Lots of Buffytype references in tonight's ep. Mindwiping, pain from visions ala Cordy. I wonder what the significance is that Nathan turned into Sylar. Still pissed they killed Eden. How the heck did Sylar manage to break the glass? **nods** Killing Eden was kinda like classic Joss. Pull you into the character, show her starting to change her life, to move and be on the verge of a new path so you're even more invested in the character and then BAM! Of course it also means that Sylar is harder to contain than they thought.

Ok, we've replaced "Save the cheerleader, save the world." with "How do you stop an exploding man?" God, this show is fun! Heee! Now I hear that to the tune of "how do you mend a broken heart". #rofl1#

Hmm. More evidence for my "Peter has a power of his own" hypothesis. Nathan wasn't really there, but nevertheless Peter gained information only his brother would have (what was in the painting).
And I'm still thinking - not a coincidence that Nathan was overlaid with Sylar. I'm still in the "Nathan is/will be evil" camp. I mean...he was telling Peter to give up. You can't do it. That's not a good sign, even in a spirit questy dream.

Yup, S'cubies are pretty smart. It's the Exploding Nuclear Man hypothesis.

Ooh, Eden—I like that option. Yeah, this would be an excellent plan. Too bad the plot demands (probably) that they keep him alive and murderous....

And I don't think it's Sylar's power. I think it's Peter's power - his empathy is letting him channel the bad guy(s).

*sigh*
Just as I was starting to like Willow!Daddy, he goes and mindwipes his entire family, and takes away his daughter's best friend.
And Eden. So very stupid. And so very dead.
So...Peter's empathy dealie also functions as a sort of precog, eh?
Do we think he was channeling NuclearMan, or do we really think the vision is of him using that power by accident, in the future?
And I LOVE the ref to the Bradbury story about the butterfly. Hiro is my kind of nerd.

I wonder if the headache was because it's hard for Peter to absorb another power so soon after the last. I think it was Matt's headache. Sucks to be Peter.

More Silence of the Lambs stuff. You collect special people, so do I. timepieces, not watches. Did Daddy Bennett call in the big guns? Hiro and Ando helped Isaac paint without the drugs, where Eden and Daddy Bennett could not. Oh, of course she doesn't realize that Daddy Bennett is behind the memory wipes. He's gonna lock up Claire in the bunker too. He speaks!!! Ah, mom's memory keeps getting wiped. Does explain why she's so loopy. "How many times have you flashy-thinged that poor woman?" ;D

"How many times have you flashy-thinged that poor woman?" ;D *Snerk!* I wonder if the Haitian (I really hope they give a name to him soon) can add memories back, too; or if he can be selective in how he wipes them so they can be recovered: I'm really upset about Zach, and hope that he's recoverable to Claire. Which means that it's probably a one-way trip, and once wiped, you have to learn it all over again from scratch. *sigh*

One thought about the multi-power overload theory: Assuming it's correct, Peter's solution would be simple enough: don't be in close proximity with several heroes at once.
Sylar, on the other hand, would have no such option if he were to eat Nuke Boy's brain.
Perhaps Peter's overloading experience (with the accompanying visions) were meant to provide him with a vital clue.

*Sigh* As usual, you've said everything I wanted to say, including the MiB joke. Well done. Carry on, S'cubies. In Peter's New York dream - I don't think it's him, I think it's radioactive man blowing up. Peter dreamed of flying because Nathan can fly. Now he's dreaming of exploding because... I'm very concerned about that cough, not to mention that he looks pale and sick. Maybe he's not completely healed from jumping off the building. Anne, awake since 3:15, this is no way to run a railroad Oh, yes, and the Haitian got awfully talky meat all of a sudden. Looks like he's got his own agenda of protecting Claire. I wonder what he's up to? Also, Niki really came through for her family. I hope she can convince the police to take her seriously and lock her up before Jessica comes back online. One more thing - Mr Bennet has opened a can of worms by having Zach mindwiped. Claire's been hanging out with Zach for a couple of weeks, and the rest of the school is going to notice at some point that things have changed. Bennet can't make the entire school forget about Claire and her "loser" friend. I'm probably wrong, though; I usually am.
