Ah, poor Peter. "Hair in your face." LOL! "Get rid of your distractions." Hee! Claude is such a smart ass. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!! Peter couldn't fly, but he can survive that fall? WTF?? Quoting myself, because..well... cool. So Peter is figuring it out - that it's the thought of the other heroes that triggers his power. Loved how Claude snapped him out of it. Claude is an 'old friend' of the HRG? I think that puts Daddy Bennett further on the 'bad' side of the equation. I still think grey. We already knew from HRG that the occasional hero in his Initiative has wound up dead. Although, in the case of Claire's parents, that doesn't turn out to be true.... He knew Invisible Guy, so that means IG was probably in his "custody" once - but how he escaped, or got loose, and why HRG thought he was dead are all open questions. I think IG is a good guy, HRG is a guy who thinks he's good, and Sylar and Jessica are the only truly bad guys we have yet. Eww. True. We gotta shut up all the C/P shippers now. Ick.

And I soooooooo didn't see that one coming. I mean, how young was Nathan when she got pregnant?! I'm kind of annoyed. I had this little incipient Peter/Claire ship going. Guess it'll have to be Peter/Zach now. But...it's creepy! He's 30 and she's like 17. I have no 'ships on this show. Which is kind of refreshing. Not to care who's sleeping with whom.

Well, this one was fun. I especially enjoyed the Claire/Mom bits and the Peter/Claude bits. And the moment when HRG bursts in and shoots Sylar (I'm pretty sure he got shot at least once this time - but maybe not) was wonderful. I find it bizarre that so many of the talents have reproduced with others of their kind. Given how rare these mutations ought to be, the only explanations I've been able to come up with are the aforementioned mutant breeding program - whether deliberate or as a side effect of being collected for other purposes (by Linderman or HRG?). Then they'd be in the same place and the concentration of mutants would be higher. The alternative is...maybe mutants can only breed with other mutants? So it seems like a lot, when really it's just ascertainment bias - any child of a mutant we see must, by definition, be the offspring of two mutants? In which case they really are a new species. Evolutionarily, though, it's unlikely. Given that Mohinder keeps talking about this as if it's ONE gene that's mutated. One mutation does not a species make. Like they care. Depends on what Peter's mom is like, I guess. We don't know, yet, if both parents were mutants. She seems normal...but then, so do most of them, when they're trying to hide. And I'm gonna be the only one who thinks this, but - I didn't miss Mohinder at all. His scenes tend to be the ones that get me all pissed off at the lack of a science editor, and I don't find his character all that interesting. YMMV, obviously.

But she's way above him in their social strata, so probably not going to happen. Zach and Claire are cute as friends. Plenty of time for other stuff in a few years.

If he's 30, that's kind of out of my comfort zone.

Claude is so right. Peter needs to get his people out of his head, but he's wrong that all people suck. He's very cynical. Hiro's sister. Kimiko. Putting on the guilt trip. Claire - "I'm your daughter, and I can grow a new kidney." LOL! Oh! I just remembered where I'd heard that before. Star Trek IV. "The doctor gave me a pill, and I grew a new kidney!" Sorry. Nonsequitur. Not really! George T. was in Star Trek IV: Let's Steal/Save Some Whales and Make One Really Low Budget Star Trek. It might have been a wink on the writers' part. Come to think of it.... Claire is trying to save the manatee... well sorta. Hmmmm.... I see connections. Vlad

Spock trying on swearing. What can I say I like to be amused and I'm easily amused. A perfect combo. Ando and Kimiko sitting in a tree b-o-w-i-n-g ... I LOVE this show!!!!!!

Really it's the only one that I am actively looking forward to each week! LOST is diminished goods, Veronica Mars is getting very streaky, 24 is losing it's oomph. BSG is way off it's stride for me. Aside from the bright spot that is HEROES, this season of TV is not what hte last two or so have been. And ST IV... it wasn't my personal favorite, but it had it's moments. I have noticed that most die hard Trekkers actually found it to be the most "likable for hte cast" *shrugs* I was never a die-hard Trek fan... but, I loved and grew up with the original series. Some of my fondest father/son memories are of my dad letting me sneak back up to watch it late night without telling on me to my mom. It and Wild, Wild West. And let me add: You being amused is also a bright spot, not jsut for me, but everyone on this board. You have such zest! I am so glad you found us! Vlad

So all our heroes are getting the full xfiles treatment, minus the crappy third act.
Niki had a piano in her house growing up. So her family had some money.
Jessica played the piano.

Part I
Isaac's in Apt 681.
Post Apocalyptic New York.
Simone thinks its all about her? She's a little slow on the uptake here.
Isaac can't paint Peter when he's invisible.
This means that he can't paint Claude either, making him a sort of wild card.
Still on manatees. Claire's done her homework.
We have to be perfect. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
Who's this chick? Oh, an assistant.
My father always looks angry.
Oh, his sister. Damn, she is hot!
Daddy Nakamura knows about Hiro's waffle fixation. Hee!
How's George Takei's Japanese, anyone?
So his dad owns the company. Yep.
What is the sister doing then? Maybe she can take his place in the company.
Kensei.
He destroys the painting. Damn! I wonder is Simone has a digital picture.
Yikes with the broken hand.

Part II
Claude's had his powers for 15 years.
Not sure I like Claude's talk about concern for friends and family being a bad thing. and his petty theft lifestyle. And his disregard for others by deliberately bumping into them.
See yourself through their eyes.
Worry about others clogging his head. He may have a point about that.
About Nathan's campaign.
What people really are: selfish, deceitful, and gassy.
People suck.
The taxi from the dream.
Kimiko.
Older sister.
He thinks I'm weird. Hee.
Trouble in the company. Is that true or just something their saying to convince Hiro?
Claire always imagined that her parents lived in a penthouse in New York.
She's supposed to be dead, right? So are you, remember?
Sylar in the Bennetts house. Oh no.
Are thickly grown eyebrows a sign of evil?

Part III
Sylar's pretending that he works for Daddy Bennett.
A tai kwon do sleepover?
Stay for dinner?
My new Hero.
So they both thought the other died in the fire.
Horchate.
All girls deserve their secrets, right?
So Claire had this power as a baby? And it took til she was a teenager to discover it, considering how accident prone children are? Or maybe she didn't get the power till adolescence and Claire's just guessing.
This sharing of powers thing is really sweet.
They dissolved the cheerleading squad.
Now Mommy Bennett's suspicious. And if she doesn't know about Claire's powers, she must think that Sylar's a pedophile or something.
Sylar killed Mommy Bennett?
The Haitian got Daddy Bennett out of the cell?
