Part IV
So cool to see Micah and Monica happy about their powers. Does that mean its all going to go wrong?
More paintings
Looking inside the box.
Peter was on his way to Montreal?
Thug protects Peter.
Mohinder and Nikki. Is Mohinder going to help her? I hope so.
Nathan's in the future? Or it's a dream sequence? OK, it's nightmares. cause Matt's dad's the Nightmare Man.
Ooh, bringing back Janice. This works really well.
Synchronized action. Again, nice. Oh, they're fighting each other.
So now Matt can project thoughts as well?
And is there now going to be Nathan/Matt slashfic?

Coda
Midas runs the Paper Company? Did we know that?
Monica learns kung fu. I don't know about kung fu movies, but I'd be careful about assuming that everything you learn from tv can be used in real life. Especially if it involves wire work.
Searching for meaning.
Mohinder meets Monica. Wait, is that really Mohinder? Because he was a little off.
Kristin Bell is in trouble with her superiors.
Is Midas her dad?

Okay, two little thoughts - First thought: Pappy Parkman can trap someone in their worst nightmare (wasn't there a Buffy episode along those lines?). So maybe Mollie didn't actually make contact with the bogeyman, Parkman the elder just made her think she did because that's her worst nightmare, certainly, poor baby. So the real Big Bad is still out there. I wonder if we're going to get a Sylar vs Bogeyman showdown this season? There'd better be some kind of payoff, or I will be sadly disappointed (to say the least). Second thought: Bob/Midas also wears horn-rimmed glasses. Perhaps it's in the Company dress code. Noah isn't the only one. Just sayin'... Oooh, that's intriguing, if Sylar's the only one who can withstand the nightmares.

Missed some parts due to family conversations. Random comments: Noah Gray-Cabey (Michah) is a nicely talented piano player. Was Lt. Uharu in the picture of the "First Generation"? (although we now know it went much further back even than that---which raises the additional question of whether all of the heroes can trace their ancestry back in some way to Kensei. Is the human race evolving across the board, or did one guy evolve 300 years ago and now we have 15 generations later his particular genes have spread throughout the world. Seems unlikely, I guess.) Well, actually - that's exactly what probably happened. Individuals don't evolve, and if they've got it right (which, after some of last season's biology blurbs, I have no faith that they do), then one original mutation spreading through the population (due to drift or a selective advantage) is exactly how it ought to happen. Over the course of hundreds or thousands of years. *nods*

Neat info about Noah Gray-Cabey's music abilities.
I too was underwhelmed by Kristin Bell. I thought her character was almost exactly like Veronica Mars, and I was looking forward to her playing a completely different character who tested her acting abilities.
Also, Nathan is hotter now that he's not Mr. Politician Man.

Exactly, too much like Veronica. They didn't even try to alter her look. I also had read that the character was to be sweet and innocent. VM played sweeter and more naive for some of her undercover sleuthing than this new Heroes character. leftylady

Sara mentioned that Monica had a 'muscle' mimicry power. The flying power isn't exactly a muscle power, since there are no flapping of wing/arms. So, she'd be hard pressed to mimic it in any way. Same as Hiro's power, or regenerating power. Micah's power is something that manifests from deep inside him. If Monica can't see how that power works, she can't mimic it. I still want to see how exactly Sylar absorbs powers. You don't suppose the company 'chipped' him already, like they are trying to do with Niki/Jessica? The mistake they made with Sylar was assuming that he'd want to join forces with them. His power must have been too great for them to want to destroy altogether. Also, I wonder if Peter was tied up for shipment to Mr. Goldenspoon to get his chip in place. That would mean that someone had to wipe his memory. The Haitian? If Elle is working for the company, Bob could be Elle's dad. Their power is a bit similar. I got the following image/chart off the Primatech web site last season, which came from a hidden file about Sylar: Right under his feet it says "radio isotope injection upon delivery," so if I correctly understand the info we've been given in both the graphic novels and the show that means he has indeed been tagged. ETA: Here's what heroeswiki has to say about the mark, the syringe that causes it, and what's injected. Oooh, thanks for the image, Sara! You bring all the good info to the house!

Teaser About Matt's dad. Monica hides her encounter with the robber. Kristin Bell!! What does she know about Peter? Oh, she's with the Paper Company. Ooh!! She's got electrical sparks. Like Peter was doing. So had he encountered her before his memory got wiped? See, all you folks who figured out the "previously met her because of the sparks" thing are so much more clever than me.
