The twins are . . . very . . . . close. But why oh why does everyone who ever encounters them try to either kill, arrest or rape Maya? I mean, dang. Every single one of them! i think it's sort of a self-selecting group that we're seeing, since we mostly see them when they're using their powers or in danger of doing so. she killed that woman that tried to help them cross the border, too, remember? Well, now, that's true. We're mostly just seeing the moments when her power activates, which manisfests when she's threatened. So . . .

cool about jack coleman. the twins are so dysfunctional i find it literally nearly painful to watch. Me, too. But they must be important to the story as a whole, since they are on screen a fair amount of time.

Oh, momma P! A "dark secret" in the Petrelli family. Oh, didn't we mention before that they all go nuts in some way? But, keep that quiet, will you? Nice way to scare her off permanently. [Also, did it strike anyone as suspicious how Mrs P touched her arm, etc.? I still think momma P has a power that is some kind of mental manipulation or something.] Oooh! A different personality for Nicki! Who's now off to LA to "play". Ay yup. Bob doesn't want you leaving, Peter. Not no how, not no way. I'm not sure Adam is a better more trustworthy alternative, but he's right about the prison thing. Oooh, and his blood can heal, eh? So, that's the other thing they wanted from him. So, that's how Nathan got all pretty again. Fireman D.L.!! Ooooh, sex-ay!! And a perfect way to use his powers. He can go thru fire and walls and stuff and save people. Cool.

Me, too. But they must be important to the story as a whole, since they are on screen a fair amount of time. well, if they are, after eight whole episodes i'm still not seeing it! how many more episodes does this show have if the strike goes on for a while anyway? ETA the preview seems to have answered my question - apparently it's three more?

i know kristen bell can act. why isn't she doing it for this show? augh. Just doing what they wanted for role, perhaps? Not asked/told to do it differently? She's at least better than she was in the first ep we saw her in . . . I think she's playing it the way she's supposed to. Kind of stunted, as they've had her locked up her whole life because of her ability.

"He's not a toy." "He could be." Oh, yes, Peter could be a very nice toy. Hmmmm. So Bob is trying to sell Peter on a chemical way to get rid of powers. Be "normal". [tangent]Why does Nathan still have eyelashes?[/tangent] Oh. And Bob is paying for D.L.'s hospital stay as a way to get to Nicki and see if she'll go for the same deal as Peter. Bob's plan for the Company is to get rid of powers. Well. Some powers, I'm betting. Oooooh! Electro-gal was the one who cut off the emo bangs? She must be evil!! And, yep. Adam is in the next room to Peter. So, I'm betting they escape together. Good point. Interesting how Nathan and Peter switched hairdos.

I can't remember. Did Bob say that Adam only "escaped" 2 weeks ago or did he say that they had Adam out cold and he only "woke up" 2 weeks ago? 'Cuz we know from these memories that Adam was awake for months. But maybe he said locked up and only escaped. Which would be accurate. And that was some more nuanced acting from KB there. When Peter kissed her and she got to be simultaneoulsy still psycho while also showing that she really is kind of . . . not innocent, but inexperienced, perhaps? She acts all sexually provocative, but really she is the girl who has never been on a date, hasn't had a life outside the concrete bunker. Maya the nun. Oh. And we see the matching scene to her first killing. The first time they realize he can help reverse things. Nicki wakes up inside party girl Gya. Oh. Crap!! Damn. Poor D.L. and Nicki and Micah. Well, that was a senseless and crappy way to be killed. And now we see why both Peter and Nicki decided to let Bob "help" them lose their powers. They had matching "it's all my fault" survivor guilt. Wow! Adam's blood makes for one hell of a cure. Which means Claire's blood will do the same thing, I'm betting. Oh! Which means she can save her dad, maybe? Ah. And the Haitian actually was saving Peter when he knocked out his memory and locked him in a box bound for Ireland. Mrs. P and her influence again.

But they must be important to the story as a whole, since they are on screen a fair amount of time. I'm thinking the whole story of the disease that kills 97% of the world and its cure or prevention will be a combo of: the Shanti thing we already know about, the mutation of same, Mohinder's blood, Maya and her brother's black eye goo, and the healing powers of Adam and Claire.
