Oh, so very very very glad, on this day that the precipitation insists on staying semisolid and I've blown some important component of my lower back: Sleep While I Drive has updated, on an unusual day after Giles and Xander have sucked all the fun out of Rhode Island and Xander's gotten up first. Julia, because Mireille writes this to please herself, but it always, always pleases me

Spring with Xander has begun and we all get to benefit! In particular, Reremouse has me all squeeful. First, Parts, Chapter 10! Yes, that wonderful "wacky spell has turned the boys to girls and the girls to boys" story gains another chapter and looks to perhaps actually finish soon! Woot! (Earlier chapters live here.) Next, she and Cordelianne are writing a new story with a chapter on every unclaimed day. The summary for Good Guy/Bad Guy: A Spike and Xander Adventure reads as follows: In a post-Chosen, post-NFA, non-comic canon compliant world, Xander's working with the Council and Spike's working with Angel. Somehow they keep running into each other. Finally, another chapter from Reremouse, but not apparently for Spring with Xan. I don't know how I missed this lovely little slo-moving story. It's an untitled Xander/Larry fic (just barely slash really, so far ), currently at Chapter 10. Previous chapters live here. Yay! New fic! ;D And now chapter 2 of Good Guy/Bad Guy: A Spike and Xander Adventure! In which the warnings list: tight jeans, big hair and exotic cuisines. Yes, we're heading to Canada. More Spandery goodness from Cordelianne and Reremouse. Good Guy Bad Guy Chapter 3 - A one-eyed guy walks into a bar in Lhasa. Chapter 4 - beer and manly answers. Chapter 5 - Warnings: Disdain, stingy bastards and one offended vampire. Enjoy!

Julia, relaxed breakfast conversation, and then BLAM! or maybe KAPOWEY!

"Infinitely more complicated" and likely to get more so, as Xander shows the effects of his upbringing. Julia, and I hope this is an air-clearing experience rather than a fine mess he's gotten the house into

"House of Women" Shakespearian complexity and Faith seems to have a pretty rational grasp of the Emma Frost thing. Also, today would be a damned good day to avoid the comments thread, because people are frothing. Julia, may they all have to feed a housefull of teenagers some day

"House of Women" the naievest person ever Kalindi and Gabriel have a girly bonding moment and each end up a little different. Julia, if you haven't read "This Little Light" in the earlier stories, much of Kalini gets lost. Great story, in the stuff linked in the headers, go see what it is

Julia, as the chief cook in this caravansarie, I'm taking inappropriate amounts of amusement in their fix

I object! Chapter 9 - unshy naked Spike is a very good thing.

"House of Women" Wendy and Giles talk about the importance to any person dealing with the occult to know your goddesses; Giles, on the other hand, still plays those cards close to the chest. Julia, wondering again where the heck my tarot deck got off to

Julia, the character voices- especially the Xander internal monologue- in this chapter are a veritable lesson in writing characters who breathe
