As requested, I'm posting a link for the songs (with lyrics) that have been used on both BtVS and AtS:isa.webou.com/It's mostly in French, but you can figure it out. At least, it's a good substitute for buffymusic.net, since that may have disappeared.

This site has both Buffy and Angel show dialogue searchable by season, character or arc. It's my #1 source for 'who said what'. vrya.net/bdb/index.php

A great site for scripts, some appear to be shooting scripts and contain some dialogue that didn't make it to air. www.buffyscripts.net/EDIT by Riff: this link no longer works.

From Dannyboy at hellmouthcentral.com, comes a timeline helpful in understanding all things in the Jossverse. Be aware: this is VERY long, in case you want to save it! www.hellmouthcentral.com/myth.htmlEDIT by Riff: This link no longer works.

Remember the wonderful depository of Buffy and Angel shooting scripts we had in the old studiesinwords website that was shut down a while back? Well, the other day I stumbled on a link to a website where all those shooting scripts are available in handy zip files. The owner had saved them from studiesinwords and after that site disappeared put them up at her website as a service to the fandom community. I Emailed her and got her permission to post the links: www.unreliablenarrator.net/buffyverse.aspwww.unreliablenarrator.net/buffy_scripts.aspwww.unreliablenarrator.net/angel_scripts.aspI was delighted to find these still available and hope you share my enthusiasm. deborah

Thousands of Spike-centric screencaps from BtVS (all pertinent seasons/episodes) and Ats S5. I've just blundered on an excellent screencap site specifically focused on Spike: Lostsoul Gallery. It took me a while to learn how to navigate the site, but it's a potential source of some excellent pics and potential avatars, etc., with hundreds of pics per episode. Like most screencaps from BtVS, the pics are rather dark and need to be lightened to be used, but even I can do that with the PhotoEd program that comes with Windows, so I assume anyone playing with pics or avatars more extensively than I can also do that. It's at: www.secretloft.com/galleries/Per Sue's wise reminder, be sure not to use their bandwidth--link to a picture with the URL going back to their site. That's a no-no. Copy them to your own hard drive if you want to use them.

Quoting from her site: EDIT: Nope. It was Labrynth from darklabrynth.com (you can call up her 3 posts). Still, let's be sure to observe her requests with regard to usage. Sue

I think a stable thread for recommended links would be valuable, so here are a few for seed.
The Buffyverse Encyclopedia www.slayage.tv/EBS/
The Hellmouth This site specializes in pics and some identification discussion of the various BADS in BtVS. It has pics of Mr. Trick, and the Master, and the Master's minion, Luke, and pretty nearly all the rest. This is a real resource. groups.msn.com/Hellmouth/
The Buffy Dialogue Database vrya.net/bdb/index.php
BuffyGuide Excellent episode guide slowly being updated into Season 7 with a mix of commentary, analysis, dialogue quips and thuds, cast and director list (with character names), explanations of references in an ep, continuity items, and much else ON EACH EPISODE. PLUS about the best database of links going. Invaluable. www.buffyguide.com/
A site dedicated exclusively to the analysis and naming of Spike head tilts. Really! www.headtilt.com/headtilt.htm
Buffy transcripts www.buffyworld.com/
Angel transcripts www.buffyworld.com/ NOTE: Good as of 9/4/03
ALSO BtVS/AtS transcripts at: www.buffy-vs-angel.com/guide.shtml NOTE: Good as of 11/30/03
Angel episode guide www.trinityofiniquity.com/screening/screeningrm.htm
Screencaps For Buffy screencaps from Season 4 on: www.cappiness.net/
For Angel screencaps from Season 5 only: www.cappiness.net/Guide to British Slang www.peevish.co.uk/slang/a.htmI'll add to these later and invite others to chip in with sites they've found useful (as opposed to fanfic sites). LOL! I haven't heard a few of those in a while. ;D

I don't know how much use or how good it is, but buffy.nu has a search engine for cast and character related items. It's here: www.btvs.nu/search.cgi
