Right there with you. I always felt bad for Dennis, though...especially after "Deep Down." Cordy became his life, or afterlife at any rate. Would he become as comfortable with a new resident? Or would he not even exist for the new person? Yeah, he was kind of in love with Cordy, I think. I wonder about the "would he still be there" thing. I mean, could he have left/stopped being a ghost/"moved on" (to whatever there might be to move on to) after they first discovered his body and got rid of Maude? Did he only stay because he got attached to Cordy? I mean, a lot of ghost stories are based on the idea that the ghost is only there until their death is resolved, so . . . Yeah, I was confused on that too. One would think that once the secret is exposed, he can just go. Becca made an interesting point above as well, when she questioned how Maude managed to get Dennis in the wall. It's unclear, but perhaps what we're supposed to take away is that Dennis is not exactly Mr. TakeCharge. That he can be comfortable, to his detriment, with the familiar, and that a strong personality can really rule him (bad in the case of Maude, good-ish in the case of Cordy). She may have ordered him around at first, but by Season 3, he was "good with a loofah," which indicates a lot of things , but mostly that they had developed a close friendship...

OK, when Cordy shuts her medicine cabinet and Maude is standing behind her, it completely freaked me out!

I love my Cordy-centric episodes. They played well on the only thing that could weaken Cordy the fact that nobody wants her, nobody cares about her, she was alone. That was one of the only things that I feel could weaken her spirit.
I love that the trigger word for her was Bitch! That sets her right and makes her remember who she really is.
Classic episode.
