David, you don't appreciate the risk you're taking. The sight of my naked self has been known to reduce strong men to tears. I frequently use it as a threat and very rarely is anyone brave enough to take me up on it. Mostly nuns....
In college, my suitemates and I were very physical with one another (not THAT way) - wrestling, hitting, etc. - all in good fun. (This is making me sound bad, isn't it?) Well, one of my dear friends is very "girlie" - I'm talking Reese Witherspoon's character in Legally Blonde has nothing on this girl. We would always try to get her into our fights and her defense would be to strip naked. We wouldn't touch her after that. There were so many times that we would be fighting and we would turn on her and she would just take off down the hall, stripping her clothes off as she went. A lot of times we would mess with her - make her think we were going to attack her to see how far she would go. It was just so funny..... And this is one of those stories that (A) make me sound really stupid and weird and (B) no one was interested in. Hasn't stopped me yet......but that's why y'all love me, right? ;D

Okay, come on folks... it's not like I haven't been around...some...a little... okay...occasionally.
I am trying to find more time, delegate more things, let it all go to hell in a handbasket and I think I have actually accomplished some of this. At least in the area of wicker-ware. *wink*
I miss all you guys too...and I miss not being able to stay all caught up with the messages on the board.
Anyway, thank you for all the kind "We want to see more of you" messages. I do assume that you didn't want me to start working for Chippendales by that.
As I get the site revised, the summer comes to a close and the new season arrives, I am betting you'll see more of me than you'll ever have wanted.

oK, something really strange happened...first time I tried this I was on netscape so I switched to IE...and this time I got the little unresolved image links but they stayed there. So I clicked on one and a popup box said 'The hardest thing to do in this world is live in it'. The same thing happened for each image. Now doesn't that just make you go 'ooooh?' I have troubles with the site using IE, but Netscape is generally OK. (Not that that helps you any) The message you got is the one the pops up if you try to copy or download anything off their site. You might try typing www.buffy.nu in your browser, and then use the links to the pics that they provided. (Second box down on the right side) Good luck.

Oh, people didn't mean they wanted to see you at Chippendales?! Uh....umm....neither did I. Yeah, I wasn't thinking about Chippendales when I wrote that I wanted to see more of you. *laughs nervously* Of course I meant that I just wanted to see you POSTING more. *laughs nervously again*

I liked those ones too. She looks happy. Hey you! When did your post total get higher than mine? Hmmmph. I guess I had better get more verbose. Or stop doing any work at all and spend all my time here. I guess that wouldn't work. I do want to keep my job. What with not liking the job hunt either. Best get back to it. For now at least ;D Micha, Spike's Naughty Nibblet. OK, I'm only a FEW posts higher than you... and don't you work for the same gov't as me?? I'm pretty sure you have to kill someone to loose your job... (Oh... I just went and looked and you have been posting for almost 2 months longer than me, so I guess I just really have a big mouth!) But no, I just don't have much work right now, come fall I'll be much quieter while I actually work at work. (Really!) OH!! Just got some good news at lunch! I've been approved for and accepted into French training! I have my evaluation next Wed. over at your building. Huh? say all the Americans. Why is that good news? Because I can apply for new jobs that hopefully aren't so boring if I raise my bilingualism level, plus we get a bilingualism bonus here. YAY me! ;D

I just received an email from John - their computers are acting screwy because of the virus and he can't sign on. He wanted me to give everyone his love and best wishes and hopefully he'll be back soon.
Also, he wanted to wish Lori a speedy recovery, as do I.
Lori, if you see this when you come back - I hope your surgery went well and I can't wait to see you back on the boards!

I have been wondering about James/John for a few days and kept meaning to ask if anyone's heard from him. His last post was way back on the 8th! And yes, Lori hope you are doing OK.

Anyone else watch MI-5 last night? Two things, (okay, maybe more): Tony Head is the ultimate cool. Had a "What does Giles think he's doing?" moment when I heard a particularly un-Giles like moan over the MI-5 surveillance tapes. (Hot yet unbelievably ooky.) How have I not watched this series before. I am now going to have to set my VCR eventhough Tony Head isn't on regularly. Really good show in the best tradition of British television. Yup. Liked it lots. Any thoughts? I thought he was yummy. And I kept saying "No, Giles, don't do that!" throughout the ep (especially the end). Though I thought (halfway through) that he would go out in a hail of bullets, not the way he did.
I did notice at the end that this was a 2002 production -- so maybe we're a season behind?

It's a Buffy addict thing... I saw American Wedding on the week-end, and whenever AH was doing wedding related stuff in the movie, I kept wondering if that's what she's like with Alexis.

Because I can apply for new jobs that hopefully aren't so boring if I raise my bilingualism level, plus we get a bilingualism bonus here. YAY me! ;D That is great news! Unfortunately my post isn't designated bilingual so I don't get that $800 a year bonus. In my job it's not worth it anyway, because the people who do the French patents have to work 10 times harder because they have to know a lot more different things. For example, I have 3 queues. I have to know about water and air filtration, flotation for purification of metals and about systems for purifying CO2 emissions. If I were doing French patents, since there are fewer in each queue, I would have 20 or 30 queues and would have to be an expert on those 20 or 30 things. Sometimes that $800 a year isn't worth it. However, I have many friends who have had a hard time finding jobs as clerks, or getting promotted because they aren't biligual. So I know that for most people the bilingualism training is very important. So let me say, WOO HOO! When are you coming to Portage and in which Phase is it in? Micha

I wouldn't mind if they reran it from the beginning but I want to see the new episodes too. Now if I found some of MI-5's scenes ooky, I wonder what I'll think about Manchild? (Start airing next week on BBC Canada woo hoo!) Giles! She's young enough to be your daughter! Oh...yeah...but then again so am I. Forget I said that Giles. Micha the Naughtly Nibblet.

Though we were fully, if strangely, dressed. Thinking about this...I know I posted once about writing stories and having my friends act them out during recess in elementary school....I haven't changed much at all, have I? Still writing silly stories with my friends, and acting out....
