Copied this from Part 30 just to make sure you see it.... Rob: OK, just when I get my senses back (and my makeup repaired) from reading Diane's wonderful tribute that broke my heart, you have to go and write an amazing, heartfelt declaration that again caused me to break down in tears. I can hardly see my computer screen because I am crying so hard. Your tribute to the show was so typical you: simply stated yet so incredibly powerful. I would quote my favorite parts but that would be the whole post. Your's and Diane's reflections on BtVS was such a wonderful reminder about why I love this show and why it holds such an incredibly huge place in my heart. Thank you, Rob, for your moving words and your heartfelt sentiment. You have truly moved me and I thank you for that. -L

Patti, you said something about opening all of the posts at once. I think someone also mentioned this in reference to archiving. How is this done? (In simple technological terms.)

Athene: Are you trying to get me to break my vow of staying spoiler-free for the last three episodes?!?! This post is not fair - it's like holding cigarettes (or probably more appropriate in my case, crack) out to to an addict, taunting them, "One more time. It's not going to hurt....I won't tell anyone." Must resist the temptation....must resist the temptation....must resist the temptation....must resist... OK, off to look at pictures of spoiled milk, cheese and other foods that look really gross when spoiled. -L

Well, you can't open the posts 'all at once' - you just click all the little plus signs on the page, then they'll all be open, then you go to 'edit' and so forth. I wish there WERE a magic 'open all sesame' command...

DON"T DO IT! Let this last episode just roll over you without knowing the dialogue before hand. Out of respect for Joss and the actors, who want to surprise and delight/thrill/break-the- hearts-of us, DON'T READ THE WILDFEED!

Patti: Just read your thoughts on BtVS over on the Nerd Alert and all I can say is: thank you. Thank you for opening and sharing with all of us. Thank you for showing what impact this show, these characters, these stories have had on each of us. Your story is OUR story. I think we have all been changed and impacted by BtVS and its messages. Thank you for reminding me of that, of how this show has touched me and continues to inspire me. The themes of BtVS have been the themes of all of our lives - growing up and gaining independence from family, friends, institutions; gaining self-respect and self-worth; the line between good and evil and how everything isn't black and white, the world is various shades of gray; the connections we establish and how these connections reflect our lives; the struggle for personal identity while maintaining your ties; and so many more. Thank you, Patti, for reminding me of this, of why this show has meant so much to me and to all of us. Thank you. -L

Don't bite the apple!! You remember how that worked out for Eve! (just a joke! Seriously, DON'T DO IT!!!). Think of the surprise (if it was one) last year when Giles came "I'd like to test that theory!" Who else jumped and screamed!?!?!

Hello all!! sheesh! lots of posts to go through! but cant right now. this is a quick note to say hello and wish everyone well before the Final Episode!! I am in the midst of Packing / Moving Hell, and my Internet gets cut off later today, and will only be re-connected later this week [ Friday?!?]. I'll be thinking of you all, leading up to the last Ep, and afterwards I'll be looking forward to reading all the commentary, although it will be days later. I'm thankful to have a forum full of wonderful people, whose insight into the show helps me to see things in different ways and makes it that much richer an experience. and I'm doubly thankful for this group of people whose investment in the characters and the story of BtVS mirrors my own and makes me feel less silly and sad about my heart breaking over the end of the series. I'll see you after the Finale, and happy watching!!! [well as "happy" as it can be, for the last ep] *grin* -Shannon

OK, I'm NOT going to read the wildfeed! Even though, I have to admit, I was really tempted. But, out of respect for everyone involved with the show (and myself), I am not going to read the wildfeed. Anticpiation for the finale (30 hours and 20 minutes away) is KILLING me but I am going to refrain. Back in my spoiler whore days, I read any spoilers I could get my hands on. At times, I wished I hadn't but that's all water under the bridge now. Next season for Angel, I'm going to try to remain spoiler-free (key word: try). Thanks, guys, for the support - I might have to call on you some when Angel starts in the fall! Don't read wildfeed....don't read wildfeed....don't read wildfeed... -Lee Hollins

James, I posted something when you and Athene were discussing whether or not to buy the first season of Alias on DVD? In case you didn't, I copied that post from Part 30: //Oh, I can answer that one right now. Alias is DEFINITELY worth the buy. It is my third favorite show (guess which are my first two) - the show is absolutely amazing. The actors, the writing, the action - everything is top-notch! JJ Abrams reinvented the show TWICE in less than six months - not many shows can say that (well, ok, NO show can say that!). The first season was more cliff-hanger-y than the second season - not that the second season wasn't, it just wasn't a focus as it was the first season. During the second season, every show didn't end in a cliff-hanger - will Syd live or die? Will Dixon?, etc. The Super Bowl episode still has me scratching my head - it totally turned the show in a new direction. A lot of times when a show undertakes such a radical shift, it usually spells trouble. Not so for Alias! And this season's finale - let's just say everyone I know is still talking about and wondering just what the heck is up. Go out and buy the first season on DVD (or pre-order it, whatever) - you will NOT be disappointed. If you are, I will eat my shoe!// Just in case it got lost in the shuffle! -Lee Hollins

James said: Think of the surprise (if it was one) last year when Giles came "I'd like to test that theory!" Who else jumped and screamed!?!?! I did! I did! One of the best moments of my life! And another was when the demon said 'We will restore....YOUR SOUL!' I was flat on the floor for that one. With NO ONE to share with!! I'm so glad I was unspoiled last year. I didn't even know about spoilers. I was Eve before the serpent hissed in her ear! This year...one hiss, and I bit. sigh. But, NOT the WILDFEED!
