I know you asked deborah, but since I don't know when she'll be back: He's on CBS after David Letterman. (In Nashville it runs: 12:05 am to 1:05 am).

Thanks much Vlad! Oh, and I disappeared last week-end, but read through most of the posts. Your kid looks great! Looks like, much like myself, you love fatherhood! It suits you!

Rob says - about blaming SMG, etc: "There is no one to blame, in my opinion. Only people to thank." I love this thought, and it's wording. Thanks, Rob, for putting it exactly right. And thanks for saying such nice things about how you have thought about my opinions, etc. I always liked Xander, but you helped me appreciate him even more, and I am grateful for that too. Of course you retain your own unique viewpoint - and goody for that! I don't express my thoughts to get everyone to see things my way - I just need to get it out. I mean, I love doing those analyses, because otherwise, what good are all these unshared observations? I'd rather get it out there and have 1000 people disagree and tell me what an idiot I am, than have no one to share it with or show any interest.

Nan: I posted a response to your query about Diane's tribute in Part 30 but I thought I would post it here as well. Diane's tribute that I was referring to will be found under her new Nerd Alert - her tribute is #2. -Lee Hollins

Patti, RE flutes and trumpets -- //David said: How about a trumpet? Do you play? // I always play ... oh wait, you want to know if I play the trumpet... completely different. I used to play the trombone in high school -- yes, I was a band geek. Unfortunately, Michelle Flaherty was not a member of our band. Anyhow, the trumpet question was along the lines of the flute question -- in the second American Pie film, Michelle used a trumpet to get Jim out of his comfort zone. And then the bandleader walked in and played the trumpet. Very funny stuff. Miss Pamela, RE the behind-the-scenes gossip -- //It happens, people. Someone being led astray by a well-meaning but over-confident, cocky spouse or significant other leading to a career downfall of some extent. // I like to call it "The Yoko Factor." Patti, RE the FHM article with Alyson -- //Ok David, I went and read the interview. I didn't see anything there about small penises. But I didn't know what half the words meant, so maybe I missed it. And which was your favorite of the 5 pictures? // Um, I liked them all …. And the penis question was #29. Lee, RE Weekend posting -- //Y'all post too, too much on the weekends - I will never catch up and actually, I have now given up on trying to. If there was anything in these last two parts directly addressed to me and I missed it - I'm sorry. I tried to skim quickly and probably missed something.// Lee, my dear, you weren’t the only one. I skimmed like a madman trying to catch-up, not really reading about 90 percent of the posts, and Patti assured me that I did the right thing. Apparently much of the posting we missed was done under the influence of S'cubie-altering substances. David Crenshaw

Rae-You wicked girl-I just went to your website and accessed your stories. You have a delicious way of setting the scene and atmosphere.... I particularly enjoyed the Angel story and Drip Drip Drip. Such differnet sensibilities- one is very Mitford like and the other John Collier or Roald Dahl. I will be keeping up with your writing career. You rock... ellie

//Just Alyson alone will be enough to ensure I'll be ready with my VCR poised to record.// Alyson is good enough for me. I'll be watching. And crossing my fingers that she'll say something like, "Things just aren't working out between Alexis and me, Craig, so we called the wedding off. Instead, I've decided to go to Maryland and hook up with the first divorced Naval Rerservist pizza-delivery guy I can get into my bed ....." Hey, I can dream, right?

While I've never really checked (before last week) the ages of the S'Cubies, I know someone has figured out the ages, mean age, median age, etc. Who are the youngest posters here, if anyone knows?

OK, just got done reading all the other wonderful contributions to Diane's Nerd Alert and all I can say is: WOW!!! Oh, and are we trying to see how times we can make Lee fall to floor, sobbing hysterically and turning into a pile of mush? Just wondering. And the count so far is at 5...that's right, 5 times I've had tears streaming down my face at work. 5 times I've had to go re-do my makeup. 5 times my co-workers have asked me if it is just "one of those girl times." Yep, thank y'all so very much! Seriously, thank you to everyone who was written so beautifully about BtVS - what wonderful reminders of why I love this show! -L

James, Josh Adams is the youngest. 19 or 20 (I'd have to check the birthdate.) University student. I just went through all of the profiles and collected all the ages. One S'cubie didn't tell, and one (apparently) lied! (Teasing, Patti.)

James, if you go to the S'cubie Website and read the "Profile of a S'cubie" section, you can find out all about hte ages. Without looking, I seem to remember one of hte gals is roughly 24. Over all, I think the total S'cubies run a nearly 40 year gamut, with the average age somewhere in the mid-thirties.
