I will. And if Alexandra doesn't like it, she can just beat me up. I'll start it (probably sans the bells and whistles and links) at roughly 9:05 EDT. If Alexandra already hasn't, that is. Nan

//I mean, what is it with some guys? I don't know if it's a "guy thing", but why is it okay for so many guys to get upset over something on tv (usually some college or pro sporting event) - yell, cuss, throw things, kick the dog, etc. - but when us gals get upset, we're severely reprimanded with, "It's JUST A TV SHOW!!"// Wow, you and I are on a wavelength tonight, Pamela. I just posted one titled "The Gift" that uses some of your word choice almost identically. So no, it's not a guy thing. Also, Rob has posted some stuff you might want to read -- he's being very much affected by the end of Buffy as well. Haven't seen much of Vlad -- he's gone deep into the crypt, perhaps avoiding sunshine, perhaps to keep everyone from seeing a grown vampire cry. Some of us guys are right there with you.

No effigies of Joss, but I was considering one of Sarah. Joss seemed willing to go on, except for Sarah's hemming and hawing early on, and a lot of what he's said since she made her announcement has felt very much like the man is trying to be diplomatic and sheild her from some of the angry darts. He's always been like that. One of his #1 rules (besides don't leak anything about the show) has been never speak poorly of anyone else on the show publicly. No, I blame the end of Buffy mostly on Sarah. Joss might have been tired, but if there was enough interest coming from the right sources, he'd have happily marched on.

Enjoy the show, I'll pick up with you all tomorrow - by the time we watch it, on tape, it'll be 10PM PDT, and I REALLY don't want Paul watching me weep onto the keyboard... Keep on talking!

The popcorn is popping, and the credits are rolling for the '70s Show. It's very nearly time for Buffy to end. I need a hug .....

We're gonna need to move soon. Loved the special effects. It didn't make me cry. "The Gift" makes me cry every time I see it. However, well done, Joss & Co. Can't wait to discuss with y'all.

Dunno how to make a link, so I just put the URL of the website. I ask your pardon, Alexandra. Nan

I know Nan put up part 32, but it is for discussion, which I'm not ready to do yet. I am, however, drinking Asti Spumante (champagne?) from a crystal (bought at Target) flute. I lift my glass: HERE'S TO SPIKE AND ALL THE S'CUBIES! Athene--you didn't cry? I sobbed--I actually went and found the Xanax, as threatened. Casablanca....Titanic....Mickey Mouse! Joss is ....there are no words. Bittersweet, poignant, resolved yet unresolved....HOLY COW!

you can't really blame sarah for quitting the show...i mean she has a life too and she is also tired physically...i mean do you expect this show will go on for many more years..i believe they left on a high note and as for joss he repeatedly said that he is exausted and he has a 4 months old baby on top of that...he won't be there for angel as much either(on the set every episode)...so what i'm trying to say you can't really point finger to anybody...if you're going to answer this please be gentle..
