Interesting. I'm not sure I believe it, but interesting. The timing is too pat. *shrug* Yeah, but doesn't that in and of itself suggest they are being honest? 'Cause they're not idiots--they had to know how it would look to the average viewer. And they've certainly had time to come up with a more plausible story. Besides, we don't yet know for sure that Libby's dead too. Very true. I'll put my righteous indignation back in my pocket and take a "wait and see" attitude. Thank you, Planetary Voice of Reason!

I'm just stunned. Didn't see that at all.
The payoff, three or four or five years down the road better be worth it. I feel very manipulated right now and don't much like it.

I tend to think of Disney as an organization of control freaks. (Apologies to folks who love the Mouse. As always, assume IMO.) It is easy for me to believe they would dismiss actors over something like DUI.

I guess I've sort of figured this is what the show is gonna do to us all the time. Have sudden startling deaths and/or other developments. No one is safe, etc. etc. Heck, I was thinking they might have even more folks bite the dust. (I've been working on this wacky theory that the numbers represent the number of folks who will be left at the end of each season - counting down, as it were. Well, when I'm not working on the theory that the numbers are the number of folks at each bunker. And when I'm not working on the theory that the numbers are ultimately meaningless in themselves, just a part of the big human experiment. Um. And when I'm not working on the theory that they are even more meaningless than that. )

At first, I tried to find the deeper/hidden meaning to LOST, and then I just settled in to enjoy the ride. Kind of like life.

I did not see it coming! Color me gobsmacked for what happened to Ana-Lucia!
I had heard that the actress playing Libby had a role on a sitcom next year, so I thought she might exit. I never really bought that she was seriously interested in Hurley.
I liked Ana-Lucia.
I did think it was a bit suspicious that Walt just hung out in the jungle and met up with Jack at the time Jack was yelling at the Others to do a trade.
I seriously hope they don't kill off Mister Eko.
If Walt isn't returned to Our Losties by the end of the season, or at least appear on the show for more than five minutes, I will reconsider watching it next year.
The guy who played Henry Gale deserves major praise for acting chops - he's even more creepy than Ethan was.
More Vincent would be welcome. Maybe it will turn out that Vincent is the harbinger of death, poor dog. Is anyone looking after him, or has he gone wild?
Jack has a half-sister? Only now he'll never know.

Huh.
That was...bracing.
If Angela Lansbury does a guest shot as Michael's mother, someone could be sued.
I, for one, don't think Libby is dead. Those bullets could have hit her anywhere.
For the moment, that's all I've got.
