And it's Michael's flashback to his time out.
13 Days earlier....
Big hole in the middle by the beach. "Walt" types awful awful fast and accurate....
And back to today. Another laundry list from the Others? and he's burning it?
They seemed fond of that pink notepaper, no?
Michael is leading them into a trap.
When Hurley loses it, you know that things need to slow down some.
Jack's actually acting like a leader. But he's not seeing the whack-a-loon danger that is posed by BatshitMichael.

13 days ago. Excellent reminder of how little "island time" has gone by . . .
Ah! We get to see the full conversation with Walt!! (If that really is Walt . . .
"When they take me out . . . " ?!
Why does Michael not want them to take a lot of people? For the reasons he's saying? Or . . . ?
Michael wanted immediate action . . . not burying people and figuring things out . . . which, getting his son back, I understand. Except now we're all confused about if that is really all he's doing . . .

rich, lola, matthew - I stepped out the room for just a second, and I missed how we went from "Michael pointing a gun at Jack, with knocked-out Locke on the floor" to "Michael burning a paper outside, and Jack coming to get him like everything was OK between them." Can you clarify?

Another laundry list from the Others? and he's burning it? That's what it probably is, but . . . can we be sure of anything now? ;D Michael, Michael, Michael. What is really going on with you?

Can you clarify? He just locked Jack in the vault and buggered off. Then it said "Today" and we cut to him burning an Others-type shopping list.

Hi Spring,
We flashed back 13 days to when Michael first took off to look for Walt. We got to see "Walt's" whole message to Michael which referred to him being held in a "big rock with a hole in the middle". The we went to present time. Wait, Now we're on Michael's journey again. Boy BOG can really bolo!

Michael has a rifle "13 days ago?" Is that the rifle he got from Locke? But no. Because if that was 13 days ago, then no way they left the dead bodies for over 13 days . . .

Thirteen days ago again!
Bolos!!!!!
Is that fake beardy guy Zeke?
Today..
Penance in washing the blood up?
You gonna confess murder to him, Michael?
"But the boy did not care about forgiveness" Nice spooky twist on it. I wonder if Eko knows....
Michael all guilt-vomity...
"Had to get out of there. Too much "beating of his hideous heart"
So those guys are the GOOD guys, then. Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Jack., Bet those names where on the laundry list.
This is awkward....
Forgiveness,
Vaccines. Vaccines for WHAT?!?!
Why inject weird shit into yourself just because it says to do so?!?
Charlie, don't push it too much.
Sun!
Jin!
Michael!!!
"Other than having sold my soul and committed two murders, I'm just dandy!"
Yep. They were indeed murdered.

Micheal snagged pretty darn quickly. Was that the same bearded guy? These guys looked . . . legitimately bearded. "The boy did not care about forgiveness". Only worried the dog would be there waiting. Well, well. Mr. Eko - always ther with the teaching story. It's gotta be the way I say. It's gotta be just the 5 of us. The Others only want those 5? But if only the 5 go, at LEAST tell all the others where you went and so on . . . Make some alternate or back up plans and stuff. I mean at least try to think of this logically. Claire and Charlie . . . Yay!! The rest of the plane folk are told that Michael's back! Awwww, everyone's so happy. And then they see the other bodies . . . "They were murdered." Well. That's a truthful statement.
