:I'm watching the New Years Day Buffy marathon and just saw the one where the Scoobie experience their worst fears. Buffy is buried alive ...: I remember that one. That was second season, wasn't it? Isn't is interesting that in the sixth season that's exactly what happens to her?

:I am thinking of praying for an early menopause, in the hope that they stop being so irresistibly attractive. : It doesn't work.

Excerpts from a web site talking about the SFX Magazine Awards ceremony and convention at: www.virtualfestivals.com/festivals/article.cfm?articleid=198 ::"A message came up saying that James Marsters was in the building and the screams were deafening. I hadn’t quite realised his popularity, stupid I know, since I had only really come to see him! After what seemed like an endless wait the ceremony began with an introduction by SFX magazine editor Dave Golder. All the guests came onto the stage to say hello with the loudest cheer for Emma & James! I headed back to the main hall for James Marsters talk, which was delayed, surprise, surprise! However this hold up was for a charity auction, with James’ signed guitar fetching over £4,500. If only I’d had the money…sigh. Screams and cheers greeted James arrival on stage. He was so overwhelmed by his reception; he grabbed a man out of the audience and pulled him up on stage, so that he could see how amazing it was. He proceeded to answer questions from the audience, talk warmly about the cast and crew of Buffy and generally make the whole audience fall in love with him (I don’t think it was just me!). He came across as a very honest person, telling us he had just been dumped by his girlfriend, before singing the sweet song he had written for her, “Smile". He also sang “Rest in Peace” from the Buffy musical, both unaccompanied, and recited a speech from Macbeth. The SFX Reader Awards came next, after another excruciatingly long wait! These have now been renamed the “James Marsters awards”, since not only did James collect 3 awards for himself (Best TV actor, Sexiest Male & Funniest person in Sci-fi/Fantasy), he also collected the awards for Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joss Whedon, Best episode and Best TV show! He may as well have just stayed on the stage all evening!":: See web site below for a pic of JM with the fan that wrote this article about the SFX Awards. Click on the pic to blow it up larger: www.virtualfestivals.com/festivals/article.cfm?articleid=198&startrow=4# I must say, a lot of people have very good taste. And keep in mind that all these fans were in England! And I agree with Rusty, so will create All Things Spike Part Three so we can rise to the top of the heap - again. P.S. It is probably useless to ask if anyone has an extra copy of the September 2002 issue of SFX Magazine for sale? If so, I'm very interested. Alexandra K.
