I'm loving this flashback! Artz! Boone! Shannon! Ethan! It's old home week. I'm thinking they better watch out for the spider in that tent. It seems that Nikki and Paolo found that hatch first and why was it so easy for them to open it? Didn't they have to blow it open? no, no, this one is the second hatch that Locke and Eko found the one with the ? symbol on the map locke sow on the ceiling And all the spy tvs - which is how Benry and crew found out so much about the Losties.

Heh! They're bringing the funny with this ep for sure. "Crime scene? There a forensics hatch I don't know about?" ;D Ethan!!!!! EEeeeeeeek! I like how we're revisiting scenes from earlier but from the perspective of non-principal (up to now) characters. Sort of like the play "Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead". Furious action going on in the background that we are familiar with, but new we get to see what was "off stage" earlier. Reminder about Eko's words from before. Maybe he said "you're next" as in you're all next. And Hurley sums it up with "yeaa-h, that's not really better". ;D I'm loving the crime fighting trio of Hurley, Jin and Sawyer. Plus they've got a cool theme song: "Dude. Monster." Back to Artz. And Nikki's playing him like a fiddle. Heeeee! The found the plane, they found the hatch. All that fuss to find them later and they knew all along, but it wasn't their bag, so they didn't care and apparently never told anyone. ;D Plus the comparisons to Boone and Shannon continue, what with the idea of climbing up to the plane and Paulo not wanting to die. Walkie talkie. Like the Other walkie talkies. Hmmmm. So, did Ethan recruit them before he got dead?

Pants undone. Shoe in tree. "Don't" Sawyer is wise in his paranoia. "Messing up the crime scene? There a Forensics Hatch I don't know about?" And back in time. ETHAN!!! YEEEK!!!! That was soooooo my reaction too! That guy just gives me the creeps every time I see him. Oooh, you think she's running a con on Paulo already too? Most excellent point my friend. I think Nikki too over Artz's little menagerie. Well, that could very well be true, yes. Taken for their own reasons and hidden all along for the same reasons, perhaps?

why the hell would'nt paulo tell anyone about what he saw or what he heard in the Pearl? 'Cause then he'd have to explain why he was in the Pearl. And even if everyone else bought whatever story he came up with, no way Nikki was going to.

Vincent, being all tacky.
Sawyer's not a murderer. He's a conman.
Aww!! Charlie confesses!!!
Charlie making excuses, but explains himself. and apologizes, even if she can't hear it. Good.
There is NO WAY that that matroshka would open that easily.
Okay. well, there ya go. That's right, this was where we fist met Paulo and Nikki.
Matroshka is gonna interfere with the flushing. It's not gonna work MUCH longer...
So did Desmond see the fight, or see the fight?
So did he.... he did fight with her.
He didn't tell you because he keeps stuff close to his vest.
Treasure-hunting.
Ice!
"go ahead. Take them. I had NOTHING to do with it"
Yeah, he's cavalier when the riches are useless. Whatcha wanna bet there's some bizarre machine on the Island somewhere that needs perfect carbon crystals as fuel to replicate Bad Daddies or other interesting thingies? ;D
Something on the bag?

why the hell would'nt paulo tell anyone about what he saw or what he heard in the Pearl? Seriously. He probably didn't want to have to explain what he was doing there by himself.

Diansaur? that is pretty close to Dragons , which was written on the map that Locke saw on the ceiling of the Hatch, at one part of it, it said Here be Dragons in Latin. More monster manifistations, perhaps?

I'm loving this flashback! Artz! Boone! Shannon! Ethan! So fun to see them all again! Yup. I'm thinking that the two of them just kept growing more and more suspicious of each other until they each struck at virtually the same time and ended up each poisoning the other. Did they have to blow it? Or dig it out more or something? I do remember it was harder to get into that that.

Sunrise: 12 hours before... "Maybe not finding it was good for us" So THAT's why she wanted a gun. I would, too. She looks all happy and idealistic.. and he's left behind his nicorette. Someone made him a new set of glasses!! Sorry, Sawyer has a five-day waiting period for gun requests. "And who the hell ARE you?" "thanks for nothin' " and an eye-closing. Sawyer doing penance for his life in general in digging the graves. "Because then we'd have to dig another grave" "Worthless here" Slap. Hugo the shaman, trying to think up the right words to say to see them off. "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust" in an expensive way. "Rest in peace, Nikki and Paulo" Wow. That's an amazingly generous gesture for a hoarder who always thinks of "that might be useful someday" Beautiful gesture. She used the damned widow spider. The one that calls all the males. Eight hours. Oh, WOW. "PARALYZED" And she's gonna get bit too. "If you found the diamonds you wouldn't need me anymore" Yep. I hear Cerberus in the distance. And there's the males. Wonder if multiple bites kill, or if they're about to get Edgar Allen Poe'd. No multiple bites, so they should be alive. HOLY GOOD GODDARN!!!
