So, who do you think the body is? And how about finding the condom wrapper on the floor? ;D I think the body is the reporter who V ran into at the memorial at the accident site and talked to Wallace in the Sac-n-Pac. It is.

Logan and Mrs C are very quick and efficient with the lies. Go, Wallace, with the detective work. Also, very funny scene with Veronica at the police station. "Whydo birds suddenly appear". ;D Eeeeep! Mr. Casablancas! My father had a similar philosophy, but he's a murderer. So we got to see Big Dick. I can kind of see now where Little Dick got his personality. I lurve Dick this year. Casa de Killer. And Logan with a gun. Okay - how much does everyone want to bet that Logan shoots someone with a gun while rescuing Veronica this year. I'm about past my spoiled part so I don't know if he does or not, that's just my theory right now. Oh and for anyone keeping track - this episode had a fake spoiler scene out about it. All the spoiler siets had Veronica going to the hotel and Duncan blindfolded her eyes and fed her scones. Scones must have equaled sex. Tricky RT, tricky. I for one am not surprised at how easily Logan lies. He has had to lie all his life about the abuse. As for Kendall - oh she has career skank written all over her to me.

Actually, I was just coming to post that I was wrong I still thought it was the same guy this morning but I've since read stuff on LJ with screen caps and links to both actors at IMDB and definitely two different people. So, I'm wrong... it was the guy from the memorial scene and, since he's wearing the same shirt he was wearing in that scene, I'd say it's likely he actually died that day. Hmm. Wonder why he had Veronica's name on his hand? Did he run into her on purpose? Or, did he want to know who she was after she and Jessie had their moment in front of everyone? So many questions.

Pixi: Regarding your questiong of why Cassidy would care about her having sex? I'm guessing he only cares because it would be a way to "get in with the boys". He's obviously the less favored son and he probably thinks this would be a way to show his Dad that he can be good for something and maybe get him included on invites to the shooting range and shindigs, etc.
PS - However, I'm a little surprised that he didn't immediately suspect Logan of something fishy. Coming home to Logan's car in the driveway just the day before would have made me at least wonder for a second if there was a possibility there - especially with the way Kendall and Logan overplay the 'your stepmom is a bitch' cover story.

That ain't no suicide note - that was him talking about leaving his wife. For the woman that claimed she got a wrong number I'll bet. By the way, Kevin Smith was hysterical! Only Sheriff Lamb wouldn't get that the note was an hasta la vista, I'm hitting the road note. I mean talk about obvious. It wasn't even ambiguous. I'm glad to see that Lamb is upholding the standard of cluelessness - while bringing on the hotness - banner of last season. Now - we just need some Cliff!

Hee, hee - I love your avatar. Well yes I agree that Cassidy has to be a little suspicious. And yeah - maybe he is trying to become more favored son but honestly after seeing Big Dick I kind of wonder why.

I'm not sure I'd be kissing up to that guy but, then, Cassidy also goes along with everything Dick does so maybe he's just recently begun growing that backbone? Or, then again, maybe it's also about rubbing it in his Dad's face that he got taken in by a gold-digger? Sort of a... 'yeah well you aren't so smart either, Dad.'

They may not have realized that we'd all connect the two of them. Still, seems odd that they would cast two people so similar. Maybe there will be more a connection there then we think. I had originally thought that Wallace having the piece of paper from tne notepad would be about what he could get off of it - like rubbing a pencil over it to see what markings were on the paper? Now I realize it was also because that piece of paper looked exactly like the one on Jackie's car so it helped him figure out that the student who hit her car was using a reporter's pad of paper. I didn't make that connection the first few times. Hmmm. I wonder if he kept that piece of paper or used it to put the note on the reporter's car?

What, nobody commented on V running into L outside of D's room? Oh. My. Goodness. And Veronica needing to know immediately who was the female. Would she ever even have met Mrs. C? Or recognize her voice? I really don't think that affair is going to remain secret for long. And, how bad is it that I thought V/D was just as icky as K/L? Pix---on the boards you go to----are there really V/D shippers? Logan dissing Duncan for not snuggling. Huh. But then he was leaving too. I'm guessing KC kicks him out as soon as she is satisfied. Not the cuddly type. I know this was already answered as that scene was my absolute favorite of the night. So it should be repeated: "You know if the cuddling is the best part, you're not doing it right." The pain, oh the pain. Sue - there are some VD shippers. Honestly they are few and far between. Fandom overwhemingly and I can say this honestly based on the number of fansites and the number of threads on TWOP - ships LoVe. RT was given a mandate from UPN - bring on the sex and bring on a triangle. So we get this absolutely no chemistry, why is she sleeping with someone who slept with her when he thought she was his sister and then LEFT HER ALONE THE NEXT MORNING WITHOUT A WORD, guy instead of ripping off Logan's clothes. But - hee, hee. Obviously Donut doesn't bring it in bed so I can tell you I did not mind the VD humpage in the least. Well - except for some initial puking. ;D

Well - except for some initial puking. ;D I read something a little while ago from a V/D shipper. She thought the sex scene between them was sweet. SWEET?! Pixi knows my stance on this but I actually don't have that much of a problem with Veronica and Duncan - in theory. What I have a problem with is that they're both so happy to forget everything that happened in the past. Duncan I get wanting to forget it. Veronica? Not so much. I know she wants to get back to 'normal' but she rags on Logan for everything asshole-y thing he does (and is mostly justified in doing that) but let's Duncan get away with way too much. So, I can't see how anyone would describe a sex scene between these two at this point as sweet. Some might like it more than I did but it shouldn't equate to sweet. I don't think them having sex should equate to it being right for them to have had sex without any discussion of the past,

Rae - I thought the exact same thing - he was going to do the pencil rubbing on the paper to get a message thing. But then I of course got that later it was just because it was a reporter's pad and that helped him solve the mystery. Which was actually very well done on Wallace's part. I'm trying to remember more about that article in the paper Wallace was reading. Because we got two mentions of a biker guy on the bus so that has to be important. Plus the whole 09er/PCH tension thing leads me to believe that his death has to play into the season mystery.

I think his death was highlighted just as Meg's survival was highlighted. Granted, that's just how luck played out but just the fact that we got to hear the 09er girls saying something to the effect of, "at least the person we knew survived." That compared to the other girls discussing the PCHer is really working to underscore the class seperation these days. We didn't see Weevil at all this episode but you know he had to have been having some kind of reaction to one of his crew dying. It should be interesting to see that play out. I also need to watch again to see what the paper said. There was so much going on that I didn't concentrate on it on my first two watchings.
