Hi, all I'm sorry for the really late reply to this but it takes time for good TV to reach Melbourne Australia.
I've read a lot of your comments on these boards and I'd like to bring up an Idea.
Liam and Cormac weren't in on anything together (maybe).
Why would vinny even need to put the pen in the bag if Liam and Cormac were in on it together. If they were in on it together they would have found a different way to communicate to each other maybe further on down the line.
He'd only have the need for the pen if Cormac was going to either run off with Kendall or take Kendall's money and leave both of them hung out to dry or dead.
Of course this brings up How Liam found out about the money and how he knew that Cormac was being released early and how he knew to hire vinny to put the pen in the keiths bag.
Although this could all just be a load of bollocks if kendall still lives.

Yes, if you read our comments, you can see we had the same trouble figuring out why the pen was needed, if Liam and Cormac were in it together. But the other things you mention does make it seem like they WERE in it together . . . Maybe we can surmise that Liam simply did not trust Cormac, so the pen was "insurance?" In other words, he was afraid that Cormac was double-crossing him? That whole storyline left me kinda confused, though I would like it if Kendall did somehow manage to get out of there alive. She was a fun character, plus I almost always enjoy seeing Charisma in anything.

(I'm not holding out a lot of hope, mind you, but I'd love to see Charisma again.) I think the story is confusing too. And I wonder if that is because the situation itself was confusing, even to the folks in it. So, maybe we had a combo of three people, telling each other parts of the truth, lying about other parts, having hidden and conflicting agendas, etc. Like: Kendall was perhaps both conspiring with Cormac but also having her own plan, hidden from Cormac because she didn't trust him. And Cormac was plotting with Kendall, but also had his brother Liam as a sort of back-up, at least partially (because he didn't trust Liam), and tell Kendall about what Liam knew because he didn't trust her. And Liam didn't trust Cormac or Kendall and wanted everything for himself and so was spying. Or something like that. Of course, it is far more likely that the writing was just not as clear as it could have been and I am over-explaining. ;D
