Rae, yes, I did know about the reason for Buffy's lack of cramps. (!?) I was just funning.

Mary said: SMG said that although Buffy loves Spike, she's not IN love with him. BUT... That is SMG's opinion, and maybe it really shouldn't carry any more weight than my own in my mind. One online friend has stated the opinion that she believes that SMG shies away from the B/S relationship in part because her character does not come off as well in that relationship - that Buffy did not exactly act in a real 'heroy' fashion with Spike at all times. That had never occurred to me, but who knows? Maybe it did have some effect on her thinking. I forget which interview it was (there have been so many) but Joss recently said that the reason Sarah disliked season six so much is that it was dark and introspective and Sarah is not that at all, and the reason Buffy was so closed off is because Sarah was like that. (Only he said it a tad more politely than I did). That put HER comments in a lot more perspective for me.

Ah Spring...you never disappoint. Thanks for the new insights - I thought at the TIME how strange Vi's words to Rona were - This is nothing! It was an odd choice I thought, and now it makes so much more sense.

Sue, I sent a post to my old pal, Roxanne Koogler/Dori, about Old Blood being up. I added this paragraph: And please pass on to Patrick Harrington (Tallgent) how much we of the Soulful Spike Society enjoyed his discussion of "Chosen." Very excellent and heartwarming. Hope that's some satisfaction to your wish to commend him on his piece, Sue, though of course anybody is free to drop them a post on their own--I imagine there's contact info someplace on the site. Sue P #42 Wouldn't one assume that at least one (or more) of the newly empowered slayers would be assigned to L.A.? My vote's for Vi. Just read my lengthy, tedious battle analysis in the Chosen board to find out why. It's under the "STRATEGY" section.

sue, consider yourself propped. You got a whole bunch of... Your indexing idea is wonderful, and thank you for doing it. It makes perfect sense, especially as all these old posts are archived, to have an INDEX to each...that's a super idea!

If you've ever wished you could see more of Spike's interaction with the SITs -- and Dawn! -- then, boy, do I have the perfect story for you! And some fascinating insight into both the Order of Aurelius and the potential power of the Key is just icing on the cake... words well deserved.

FATE slew him, but he did not drop; She felled - he did not fall - Impaled him on her fiercest stakes - He neutralized them all. She stung him, sapped his firm advance, But, when her worst was done, And he, unmoved, regarded her, Acknowledged him a man. —Emily Dickinson ok, sobbing now...

One of the views on Tab Ras says she can't forgive Joss for what Joss did to him. I don't remember anything about Mr. Gordo in the finale, do any of you? Does she mean just because he likely fell into the hellmouth?

Sue said: my big complaint about writer's sites who use white on black background--it won't print. So, is that what you do--copy to Word, then print? Do they set up their site like that on purpose to discourage printing out? I also find it hard to read. Me too, Sue. I found an otherwise excellent Spike site once, with (I think) nifty articles and other features, but the damn thing was unreadable because the webmaster had gotten so 'creative' with background and text fonts and colors. I finally just deleted it from my favorites.

Saw this at the Tabula Rasa Yahoo Group and blatantly stole the idea (but I think Melissa, who posted it there, stole it from a magazine, so I'm not going to drown myself in guilt). I thought it might be fun on a Spike Board like this, if anyone wants to give their views... Spike at his funniest Spike at his coolest Spike at his most violent Spike at his most surprised Spike at his craziest Spike at his sexiest Spike at his punkiest Spike at his most vulnerable Spike at his most disturbing Spike at his most feeble Spike at his most naked Spike at his most beautiful Take the lead and insert your favorite scene that illustrates these Spike moments.

Sue said: 'AtS can't just ignore the fact that all those slayers now exist, can they?' They can, and I think they should. Angel isn't about slayers. I am thrilled and relieved and thankful in the utmost that Spike will be in the cast of Angel next year, but I hope the show will not bring little slayettes over. Don't want to dilute the show TOO much. Remember how irritating it was not to have enough screen time for the main characters on Buffy this year. I want all the Spike scenes possible...
