One last thought.
Do we think the two faculty deaths are just meant to be mirror opposites - a suicide that was really a murder and a murder that was really a suicide?
Or are there other hints in the coach's death to bring to the Dean's murder? Like the involvement of his son - so the dean's son actually did it as they think the coach's kid did? Or the involvement of another facultry member - the assistant coach helping him, filming him, means that Landry is the guilty party, or perhaps that Landry was actually helping the Dean somehow? Or the fact that Keith suspected the wife but was wrong?

One last thought. Do we think the two faculty deaths are just meant to be mirror opposites - a suicide that was really a murder and a murder that was really a suicide? That was the vibe I got from this ep. I read your questions, Lola, and all I can think is: Fire bad, tree pretty. Maybe Cyrus did in fact commit suicide, but needed his wife's help in some way to pull it off. Then unbeknownst to the dean, the wife schemed to frame her ex-husband for the murder to ensure that she gets a big insurance settlement. Keith mentioned something about double indemnity in regards to the coach's murder, so maybe that is a clue. ??

Thanks for the link, Jeff. Interesting read. I know Muhney posts frequently to an LJ called Rack of Lamb so I'm very surprised he was able to keep his death a secret from fans for six weeks! Kudos to him. I wonder if he'll continue to post to the journal now that he's not on the show?

I know I said I was over shipping Logan and Veronica, but this occurred to me. Only one more show will air before the long hiatus, and I am assuming that show will feature Logan and Parker on the road to a relationship. There'll be six weeks off for the lame Pussycats show. VM will return then to wrap up the season with five stand-alone eps. Assuming that some time is also going to be spent exploring a hook up between Piz and Veronica, how much time does that leave for a possible reunion between Logan and Veronica? And if this really is the last season, will Rob Thomas let the series end with Logan and Veronica dating other people?

I think the show is going for Keith arresting Landry, evidence showing up exonerating him and he is released and then it turning out to be him after all. The other suspects: Mindy Goth son Tim (who I think planted the bug - red herring that had to be dropped when they cut episodes) The rich guy who wanted fraternities Dead Richard Grieco I think it's Landry. Only one that would have any snap for me actually. We'll see. I've read MM's interview with E Online and Rob didn't even bother to call him and tell him his character was being killed off. Boo RT. Not classy at all. Oh well.

He has a couple of things cooking where he's waiting to see if he gets a part and the mod of Rack of Lamb plans to keep it open.

If they had kept them apart dating other people during the first breakup, this would have worked well. But now - so little time left. GRRRR.
