"Not a guy looking for a payday"
Wallace looking out for Piz.
Where's detective mumblesweetie?
Cliffie!!!!!
So Tommy is a FitzPawntrick. Be careful about your tats, doofus.
"White flour is essentially poison"
These must be the parents. God they are the antichrists!!!
Smart kid. I hope to god he's not a fraud. Enough people are going through that hell that it would irritate me if he were a faker.
I'd rather be trampled by horses than MEET her parents.
"SURF trip!" okay. The captionist misheard it. I read "Going to South America to serve with Dick" and was wondering what Bolivian border conflict Dick got embroiled in.
Handwriting match...

"Poundhog day" BWAHAHAH!!!
Mac can't date a man who isn't school-oriented?
OW. "I told her that's just how you are"
"People are just falling all over themselves not to pay you"
"Makes my parts hurt"
Why am I afraid that Kizza is gonna expose something unpleasant? Possibly kill him?
Liam. Wasn't he shooting at him before?
TOMMY SHAW?!? (sorry, just the musical reference name)
Kendall's body was MISSING!!!!! HAH!

"By a man who believes he's your father" I'm still worried for Apollo, myself. "A college lark" So if he's not a college student, he's just a fraud facillitator. "Love makes me lazy"? "no roller coaster but I think I can do without the dizzyness and nausea" Horse hockey. By all means, Keith, tell them to bring in Van Lowe. They'll see what they might get. "Kissing is cheating and what I don't know will hurt me"? So Apollo didn't write "Soldier of Misfortune" CRAP. he's a fake. Prof Tonin did it.

DAMMIT, Wallace. that isn't the way to support them, by faking your past. People need to know about it, but a lie-based pile of crap is the way to drive support AWAY from supporting these people. (growls back a few hundred more words, including alternating ethical considerations where he can see Wallace's side of things)
A freaking MOVIE?!
Dick! And Big Dick!
He's out on pre-jail holiday. Cool.
A YEAR?! Jesus.
"The big house" my ass. He'll be at Club Fed here in Eglin working in the base machine shop sweeping the floor.
Stand up to him, Dick. He's a slime monkey.
"Oprah may tear Apollo a new one" hee!
He doesn't want a paycheck, he just wants a family. Maybe it will be him. Maybe it won't be a clusterfark. Maybe he won't be an assassin.
Van Lowe is being WAY more assholish than Don ever was. I miss the old, ass-slapping frivilous on-the-make Van Lowe. Not that this is far removed...

I like the random P.I. questions by Keith. And Veronica's determination to beat his score. So, Piz is going to get a major interview and Keith is liking the new beau. "Dad likes you? Kiss of death." Now, now, not always, Piz. ;D V looks like she's acing the test. Hmmm. Job fair, job she's waiting to hear about is a long shot - "better off buying a lottery ticket". So, I'm thinking the FBI thing? Interview guy. A medical worker told him that he is not resposible for what they forced him to do, but he is saying it is more complicated than that. Interesting quote from him (Apollo?): "left with not just the ability, but the appetite to kill". His advisor read a short story and has been the one to encourage and help with book. So, that explains him being loyal to the college and giving first interviews there and so on. Heeee! The bit about panties was funny, but Piz saying maybe he should autograph her, he thinks there is a sharpie around, was funnier. ;D Ah. Piz has a shot at a NY job. And Veronica is all bubbly yay that's happy. Which isn't exactly what he wanted her to say. But Veronica isn't going to say things like "stay" or "what about us" etc. etc. She's always gonna be "heck, do what you want, I'm fine without anyone" gal. Heeeee! Keith misled her about his score so she thought she beat him but didn't. ;D "Maybe you should go back to the reception desk." Evil evil Keith. Hmmm. The kid's dad? So, he's not dead or missing? But needs to make sure that this is his son. And Wallace is suspicious. Well, he has his own not completely happy history with long-lost dads. But that doesn't necessarily make him wrong to wonder if there's a problem with the story. Wallace also continues his support of Piz. "He's a good guy. Try not to rip out his heart." Hmmmm. Well, there's deliberate pain and there's just the normal stuff that can happen with a relationship. You can't control everything, Wallace. Veronica, you can't either. You may be hopeful about the case where Wallace is being cynical, you may be ignoring issues with Piz, but you can't control everything although I know you want to try. Heeee! Keith is on fire in this ep. "I was so fond of you when I was a private investigator." And the whole bit with "try not to be offended, Tommy". **snerk** Parker's mom and dad? Eeeeeep! So, we're getting comparison scenes of Veronica and Logan dealing with new relationships and how parents react to them. Apollo is telling survival stories, Veronica is still keeping her cover as a reporter. Comparison scene is Logan and Parker and what is their future. I wonder if both our couples are running into the same issue. Not being on exactly the same page, relationship-wise. The surfing trip was planned for a long time, she was going to be with her parents but figured she was close enough; she was seeing it one way, he was seeing it another. But really, it's all summed up by Logan's line of: "I just didn't think about it." Matching handwriting, as least as far as Veronica can tell. So, does that make the guy his dad, or just someone who had a letter?

"Not a guy looking for a payday" Wallace looking out for Piz. I like how we're given glimpses of what's happened off camera. Wallace and Piz have become friends. Any ep with Cliff in it is guaranteed to be good. ;D Tommy is so far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer; heck, he's not even a knife at all, he's like a spork. Oy! Really. Working with kids means she'd be sick and ruin everyone's summer? WTF?! Well, we are talking about Dick here, so . . .

Huh! He DID write it!!!
"Zeke is a good friend of mine"
"Campaign of disinformation"
Perhaps he is his father.. ten more minutes, oh, I hope so.
Good for Wallace!
Mac, this is gonna be the make-or-break moment.
Max, it does change things. She wants you to be ethical, I'm guessing. Or.... maybe not. Maybe she just needs him to be eventually purposeful, as she's busy right now, herself.
Falling over the bed, oh, so sweet.
Dick giving Big Dick the hell he deserves.
"Cassidy's funeral" "He might be dead because of us"
"We used to have contests to see which one of us could make him cry: I can barely live with myself at times" and with that, Dick just became a human to me. A real one. Wow. Chills.
Logan, don't sound so "upset" about things.
Logan wanted his "fatherless children" bonding moment.
God what a hideous ad.
Hey! Apollo and Kizza ARE related!
It's for Veronica? Who is it?
She got an internship she wanted.
Cool! She got the FBI internship!!!
"Crappy P.I. exam score!"
While I don't normally like anvilized shows, I like that closer there. Mentioning the Uganda sitch.

Parker's going to Veronica for Logan advice? Well, that's not uncomfortable. Awwwww. Mac and Max love. "The porn version of groundhog day." Max's "countdown to expulsion has begun". And I don't think Mac is totally happy with that. Another couple with issues, maybe? And the same kind of "where are we going, not just relationship-wise but also location" issue? Veronica talks to Logan about Parker talking to her. Well, that's a bit uncomfortable too, eh? "I told her that's just how you are." Ouch! But, true. Heh. "Another internship. People are just falling over themselves not to pay you!" "It's a good feeling." ;D Nice banter. He may want her to give an opinion that includes what she feels. But she's right to give him the truly best advice. Which job to take? The one that will most help him go in the direction of the career he really wants. Liam gives the most unconvincing "I haven't seen him in ages" speech ever. But on the other hand, he used the phrase "back in ought five", which I have to love, as it is my favorite of the choices available to describe the years in the 2000's. Ah. The "crime wave" is to make Keith look bad. Liam is having his "flunkies" do stuff in an attempt to force Keith to tell him where the money is that Kendall had. Yeah, like that's gonna work. Ooops. The real paper's editor is there to do a story. Gotcha, V.

New Girlfriend asking the old girlfriend what's up. That's not at all awkawrd. Whoa. Brainshare! She had a bit of that "Willow not happy with Oz's lack of school enthusiasm" thing going on, didn't she? Me too. Ooooh, you spotted that mention too, eh? **bounces** I have hopes!!

I guess Dick made his peace with his dad. Maybe they'll both change for the better. Wallace is going to Africa. That is really awesome. I loved the MotW story. Great acting on the guest actors' parts. I hope Keith gets those Fitzpatricks and cleans up the town. I also hope that Vinnie is play-acting about running for Sheriff and is actually working with Keith on this. Logan is just not that into Parker. Veronica is just not that into Piz. Mac is just not that into Max, but she's having fun anyway.

Possible dad left when mom was pregnant, but Apollo doesn't want to learn the truth. I love that Mac is ok with Max's business, she just worries about what staying involved with him might do to her. "Love makes me lazy." ;D That is just so . . . . perfectly self-knowing of her! Veronica tells Mac that with Piz there is "no roller coaster" but she "can do without the adrenaline and nausea". Hmmmm. He's definitely being cast as the safe boyfriend. And calm could just mean happy. But I'm not sure she's being fair. To herself, but also to him. Apollo had a "falling out" with another guy in the African Student Alliance. Methinks this was not just a throwaway line. Heee! "A girl, a teenager and a private detective. I'm a triple threat. Barely fits on my business card." Heh! The first two lines are funny, but it's the third one that totally sells the joke. That and the furry pen. Keith thinks there's a connection with the security company? Logan invites Parker to go along. But do you really mean it, Logan? Or are you doing it because you "should", in order to prove you're not like Veronica and Parker think you are? Girlfriend of Apollo is trying to convince him, advisor hasn't seen him. This does not bode well. Ah! So, Apollo didn't write the book and the stories aren't his. A compilation of other people's experiences. Damn. And what's with the weird CW non-commercial commercial breaks, with the make-overs and gushing peppy promotion and stuff?
