Well, I wasn't as jazzed about this episode as I have been about the previous ones, particularly last week's. Can't tell exactly why, though.
Maybe I just wanted more Starbuck. ;D

LOL I wasn't as jazzed coming into the review this time around; but, that had little to do with the show and more to do with some bad polish sausages..

Finally watched the ep that I taped Friday night.
A good one, I thought. Really advanced some plot lines about the two different Boomers.
Now that the truth is out, about human-appearing cylons, I'm really looking forward to seeing all the different fallout. 'Cuz all the things they were worried about will no doubt start happening - heck, they're happening already. Paranoia and justified suspicion, a bit of panic, a bit of splintering of relationships and trust.
President Roslin was right when she worried about a witch hunt. Adama knew what could happen too, but just like the secret of the human cylons, something had to be done.
The last scene between Adama and the guy who was sleeping with Boomer (dang, can't remember name or rank . . . ) was oh so good - gonna have to keep going out there every day knowing what you did, but we need you here because of your skill. And then the natural fall out between him and Boomer was another great moment. I had this odd feeling that instead of just leaving once she saw that it was really over, that she'd suddenly become all totally cylon and break his neck or something.

Lola That last scene with Adama and Chief Tyrol was my favorite. Mr. O really poured it on and put out one heck of a performance.

Maybe I just wanted more Starbuck. ;D Don't doubt it. ;D Finally got around to watching it myself this afternoon. It pushed all my bad buttons: witchhunts, people taking a fall for each other, etc. Still enjoyed it. But it did need more Starbuck. Though whaserhead in her white satin cylongerie was pretty..... distracting.

Lola It's so sad, because she didn't know she was a cylon though she suspected something. Now she must begin to know she is...what will she do with the info? Can a cylon rebel against its programming....lots of interesting possibilities - and I STILL have no clue of the purpose of the activities going on with the 'other' Boomer on the cylon controlled planet.

Another nice review, havoc!
Liked how you pointed out the quick editing between the scenes with Boomer and the cylon bomber. The cuts were definitely a good way to make the point about their connection quickly and subtly.
I also liked your point about the scene with the bootleg liquor. This could have been just any quick, funny scene about the crew and what they get up to. But the real reason for it is made clear by the end of the episode. As you say, covering up for each other is how this group operates. How will that play out when the stakes are much more serious?
I was glad to read your examples of multiple hints we got about trouble with the tribunal. I really hadn't spotted them all! Ditto for your comparison between Tyrol and Baltar. I hadn't thought to look at it that way before.
