I thought this could be for continuing, non-finale posts, leaving 32 for that exclusively. But I've again usurped Alexandra's prerogative again. Alexandra, please forgive my presumption. Barring unforseen apocalypsi, I won't do it again, O Founder of the S'cubie board. Nan

Nan,I'm just confirming (remember 3 glasses of wine last night--amazingly, no headache) that continuing finale discussion should still be posted in Part 32. Right? So, that's where I'm going. Sorry to be so dense. Just--I have what I think is a brilliant, not yet discussed, insight and wouldn't want anyone to miss is.

OK - so no sleep last night, and I'm up and about for work today. How am I going to be productive? Is everyone moving over to this new thread? I will assume so, and am going to respond here . . . MISS PAMELA: OH, you made me laugh out loud with you $20 bills - I had no idea you were such a hussy. ON SCARLET O'HARA: Yes, I thought of Scarlett too . . . and of Rhett. I thought Spike's reaction to her "I love you" was a gentle version of "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

Sorry - misread Nan's instructions due to blearyiness and sleepless and carelessness. I am posting all Chosen thoughts in part 32.

You said, "Barring unforseen apocalypsi, I won't do it again, O Founder of the S'cubie board. Because the world ends about every third episode in the Jossverse, it means you may put up a new section somewhere in the future. If you do, please label them as "Parts" - I'd appreciate keeping them uniform for the archives. And 'apocalypsi'? Everyone knows the plural is apocalypsusses. Sheesh.

I posted my incoherent babble in part #32 and am now going to try to read everyone else's. I am still buzzed from last night - oddly, the nasty headache that was moving in all day yesterday is gone. Joss cured my headache, call the National Inquirer? At some point it's all going to hit me, and I'm going to have a nice cry, I expect. I haven't cancelled the VCR program for Tuesdays at 8PM. That'll probably do it, but I hope not in front of the husband and kids. By the way, as a good wife, I bought that FHM for Paul - it's even tackier than Maxim, but I figured the photos would cheer him up. How come WE don't get sexy photos of the guys, huh? Not bloody fair! Happy discussing - Anne D

Well, I appreciated that you didn't vague that up, Nan. After last night's "did they/didn't they," and "just what did Buffy mean by these words or this look," it was good to read something more definitive. I must confess I read the fanfic on our site more because I'm interested in the writers than the stories. Not that the stories aren't good, I'm just talking about my own priorities when I'm reading them. There's the obvious - you're all talented and imaginative - but I gotta say, I like the feeling of really having gotten a little bit into your hearts and brains reading the stories. So far, my trips haven't been too terribly scary.

Sorry guys, I had posted this in Part 32 without thinking. I KNEW that part was for finale discussion only but I just wasn't thinking when I posted it. Sorry. Well, here's my plea: When the first season of Angel was released on DVD in February, there was a little insert that said Season Two was coming in September, '03. Then, on Amazon, you could pre-order the second season DVD and it said it was being released August 19, 2003 (or something like that). Well, I just went on Amazon to look for something else and I remembered you can pre-order the second season. Well, guess what? You CAN'T!!! You heard (or read) right - the DVD is no longer on pre-order. There's a little blurb that states: //Availability: NOT YET RELEASED: The studio is currently not producing this title on DVD, but to be notified when it is available, enter your e-mail address at right. You'll also be voting for this release; we'll let the studio know how many customers are waiting for this title.// WHAT THE HELL?!?!? Does anyone know what is going on? Can anyone shed light on this perplexing situation? Is the second season not going to be released this fall? PLEASE HELP!!!! It is most appreciated! -Lee Hollins :-|

Spring said, Well, I appreciated that you didn't vague that up, Nan. There's an infamous comparable scene in Beauty and the Beast that's come to be known in that fandom as "Lava and Roses." This sequence of scenes was my lava & roses. No one is in any doubt what's going on, I trust, but there's no specific plumbing at all (no named body parts except, later, at rest, breasts and the appurtenances thereto). To me, plumbing sex scenes are essentially without meaning and not in the least involving or stimulating or anything. It's the meaning that has resonance, not which body part A is doing what to which body part B. I hope that scene strikes something of a balance between coy lava and roses vagueness (slow fade to moon & stars when things get intense) and specifics or Spike-cifics or whatever of plumbing in action. Thanks for noticing and commenting, Spring. Nan

I don't know what Amazon's problem is, but Yahoo is still taking pre-orders for a release date in August. Here's the link: shopping.yahoo.com/David Crenshaw

David, Thanks for the helpful hint! Maybe Amazon is just screwed up (at least, that's what I keep telling myself). However, even if the second season isn't released this fall, at least reruns are starting on TNT this fall! But still...if it's not released and Fox Entertainment got our hopes up for NOTHING, there might have to be a major ass whuppin'! Thanks again, David! -L

Hi Guys, I've lurked for a while since seeing some of your posts over on the episode posts after Buffy. I was wondering if there was a certian website that you all were a part of or if there was one that could be recommended with Scoopme closing. I was also hoping someone could point me in a direction for good Spike fiction, hopefully more recent involving Seaso Thanks! Jan
