//*sings*
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man: no time to talk.
No time to talk is right! //
That's it Rae . . . thanks.

Lee said: Patti, this is really great. I missed the cocktail party and banquet in Tampa. It was sold out months ago. This is early enough to give us a shot at both of these events.
I KNOW! The website doesn't have the convention out there yet, as they don't have the date set, but the MOMENT it is, (and perhaps I'll even know a bit ahead of time, who knows?) we can get our tickets!

Betsy B stalked - er - said:Hey, if we all camp out at Patti's, we can kidnap JM and chain him in her basement and take tuurns having our way with him! Umm, I mean we can have James over for tea and discuss his fascinating career.
And now we are SO glad James doesn't read these boards, aren't we? We don't want him...bothered...by all these plots - er- PLANS way in advance... Patti T.

// Rae, thanks so much for the Nickel info and the website. Did you like the rest of the CD as well? I buy a lot of Indie stuff too. But I buy mainstream alternative as well. // Well, I like it now. I got it a while ago and I'm not sure how I felt at first. CD's typically grow on me. I buy them for one or two songs and then I fall in love with the rest as I go. Have you ever heard of Jenny Bruce? You might like her... I usually hesitate to give out music suggestions because I have extremely eclectic taste in music. My parents are 67/66 years young and my sisters are all 10-15 years older than me (I was the "surprise" kid). I grew up with a lot of different music and, as a result, I like just about anything. However, you said you like Aimee Mann (one of my favorites) and Jenny has somewhat her "flavor". I think you can listen to samples of her music at: www.jennybruce.com.

There is no way on this Earth I can read all these posts any more. I am deeply gratified that we have grown as much as we have. Unfortunately the one and only potentially negative side effect is the possibility of missing messages that I want to read or making reference to me directly.
I really don't want to do that, and I will avoid it if at all possible. Please, however, do not construe it as me ignoring or disrespecting you if I miss a few.
Once I finish this I'm going to backtrack and make note of the messages to me and respond as best I can.
To be assured that I will pull up and read your message, you may do one of three things:
1. Put my name in the subject. 2. Put Xander's name in the subject. 3. Make mention in the subject line that you have a photo of Sarah, Alyson or Eliza in some state of undress.
Thanks for your attention.

You are right, the element of surpise is so much better when hunting. Betsy Lusby

Thanks for that link. The Xander tributes have been slower in coming than most of the other core characters, but it's great to see him getting some love. Better late than never.

Alex asked: So I am wondering, Patti, does this mean it is good news (that he likes older women) because you're older than David, or good news because you're younger than David?
I just meant that most women here are older than he is, so it is nice that he likes older women.
:=) (sidestepping....)
Oh hell, I'm older than David, which everyone should know as I told him so on the board when he proposed. It's that whole 'Cordy/Connor thing'...it would just be...wrong...
But, I'm younger than grit...

Honestly, I would be happy if most of you guys "lightly skimmed" the majority of tonight's conversation (she says as she begins to sober up a little). And, on a totally different note, isn't it annoying how the board always puts you back on the last page when you post a message? Even if you're replying to something several hundred pages back... Betsy, yes, I read and like the slumber party idea!
Betsy, reminding myself of this as well when I tell you - check the post subject line and when you see its got a BUNCH of 're's in front (like 3 or 4), change the subject line to something else so everyone will know what its currently about, like I just did on this one. Ok? Otherwise, people get confused. I'm one of the worst to do this, so naturally, I'm instructing in the subject! :-

Thanks a lot for this, Rae. Joss used Xander as the symbol of traditional role reversal.
Maybe there's a formula. If you're a guy, and you love strong women, there's a good chance that you'll love Xander.
This might explain why I'm such a submissive whan it comes to.....wait a minute. Perhaps that would be giving too much away about me. Cancel this paragraph. :-)

. Lee: I-10 goes directly to Houston!
How great is that??!! This would not be a hard trip. I am soooo all for this!
Very cool, Lee! I know about I-10 because my brother lives in Florida so I've done the other way around! No, it isn't a hard trip, just a couple of days, really.
So far, its Lee, Betsy B., Diane U (who also lives here in Houston, and doesn't KNOW about this yet and me!) Next?
