So, here's what I'm wondering - is there any point, at all, in my even trying to watch until I've made my way through the first 3 seasons on DVD?
Which are coming, from Netflix, btw. Season 1 should start arriving any day now.

Season 1 should start arriving any day now. Not sure Rachael. I think you can watch but it may be confusing for a bit when it comes to character interaction. The action isn't dependent on knowing the history of the show, just understanding the why and how of 'other' conversations/attitudes between characters... hmm, that was of no help, eh? Maybe Sara can answer better.

I think you'd enjoy it if you tuned in tonight, but the subtext will be a lot richer once you've at least seen the first season and a half. Let me think on this some more...
