Oh, crap.,.. not the fuel rods pulling..
Either that or Spydaddy did a Spock? (wasn't paying close attention)
Oh crap, it's with her consent.
Holy crap, he did do a spock. And his voice sounded a litle spocky there, too.

It was his hands on the window that did me in... ugh. Must remember to always skip right past that on my future S4 DVDs. Eatah - gag, gag, gag. Really disgusting.

Inject him with Rambaldi juice? Why is he walking around - just tired?

Why is he walking around - just tired? He's been exposed to severe amounts of radiation: not as much as he could have been, or he'd be dead already, but he's gonna be laid low, if nothing else, for a while. Whoosh. I'm thinking that they are gonna have to Rambaldi their way out of that one: I don't see any other alternative.

Oh, crumbs. Forgot that it was Alias with Robin Sachs, took hydrocodone, and forgot to set up a tape.
Partial taping to commence soon.

Or maybe just a light drizzle...
At any rate, when I was out on my run this morning trying to figure out what I was going to say about the ep in my review, mulling over what we know about Nightingale, those wacky Derevko sisters, and Vaughn's search for his dad, something occured to me:
Maybe we've already met Yelena Derevko--in the person of Sophia Vargas, the woman who ran Nadia's foster home. It would explain why she had no qualms about letting Nadia go with Roberto, not to mention why an apparently poor woman from Argentina was living in a fairly nice-looking place in Portugal when Vaughn came knocking.
I'm planning on mentioning this theory in my review for tvtome, but I wanted to share it here first and see what everyone else thought as well.

It's also makes sense that she'd end up taking care of Nadia since I can't believe, with Irina (sp??) actually being alive, that she'd let just anyone raise her daughter. Seems entirely plausible that she'd place her in a "foster" home with one of her sisters.

I must admit - certainly never occurred to me but she's in the right age range, same dark hair coloring and she has been inserted into our eyes for some reason. So Bill Vaughn rescued Nadia and brought her to her mother but then her mother lost her when she ran away (supposedly but probably was keeping an eye on her), encouraged her to be recruited by SD6- lite and then lost contact with her? Or has been pulling strings behind the scenes all along? The plot thickens.

That's right folks--the Alias review is finished and available for your perusal here. Thoroughly enjoyed your review, Sara! You have a great writing style. I LOL'd at Cripes, for all he knew the caller was Barry Bonds looking to make his ‘roid stash disappear into the bodies of unsuspecting, father-seeking dupes. Vaughan's obsession is a mystery to me, too, but I figured that was because I haven't been following the story until this year. About the writers using the term "Nightingale" - and because I can't resist trying to solve little details like this - the dictionary says that the *male* nightingale is the one who sings his sweet song - usually nocturnally. Or it could be a reference to Florence Nightingale. Fun stuff to ponder!
